DJ Mac would be considered an executive producer because he's a part of the production in terms of mixing (as Panda said, he and Mac paid off the engineer). So Panda and DJ Mac would be considered as the producers on the track. Teejay also because he's listed as a producer also. The music game tricky. But basically, what he's saying is he and Teejay are the ones included in the Warner deal because they have rights to publishing on the song. @@venomsupeTeejay didn’t want to share the Warner deal, simple as that.
@@damage678 Teejay always in something with somebody, at some point we haffi call it what it is. Panda need fi realize one artist cyaa put food on the table especially one who's not a household name like that
@@venomsupe thats what Teejay said in his live, i am not biased to any party, just addressing what caused this rift. Landan also hinted at this when he said Warner music said someone made a claim for the song.
@@delroyjohnson601 yes but this is the issue at hand, Teejay has been doing this kind of thing for a while now. Problem is Mac is listed as a performer and performers entitled to publishing, because if paperwork was presented and all signed off on it then you can't change the terms because of feelings. Mac himself seh he's listed as an artist on another project and I'm sure he expects publishing from it.
This youth's thinking is so intelligent👏🏾wow ... I'm not easily impressed but this Youthie is special. This is the truth to everything .
Fam the man jus give MAC the upper hand … he said it was a partnership .. by him say that MAC is a co-owner.. him pay half of everything and him push… teejay jus use the Ute simple
@@jovialreid324that's what people been saying but because Teejay is the artist people believe him foolishness
@@jovialreid324 teejay never disagree with that, teejay said mac wanted full ownership behind the two ah dem back
@@jovialreid324 rightly , Mac got a stake in the Master not the Publishing which is fair .
@benja303
TJ is signed to a label, so there's no way that can be true. Think before u talk... How can Mac thief the song from Solid Agency? SMH...The artiste is signed, so even if Mac *"SAID"* it, it's still not possible.
Panda and teejay made a mistake…. In this social media era they didn’t needed Dj Mac tb, di song did already buss before it even released
Naro dem creative yf 😂. Spice voice saying sym in the background at the into.
Good interview 💯
Ari. Still got mad love for you.
I love The FIX.
Good interview. Panda sounds mature.
❤
Are ppl listening to what panda is saying or how he says it... He said they both paid for mixing but Mac isn't entitled to publishing.... Further more teejay said when he got the beat he took a while to do the song bcz dancing songs weren't his style now panda saying teejay did the song 2 days after he got the beat... Panda obviously on teejay side bcz of prior links
Rass longtime mi nuh watch fix enuh😂😂😂😂let’s be honest tek y’all shine 😪😂

It obvious he was trying to squeeze out PANDA from him leave off the yute name and a give him the run around.
will they take down this podcast ?..
Panda: beat
Tj: lyrics
Mac: produce

Narro getting that ptsd flashback when he heard sym
ALL WHA GWAAN YOU AND TEEJAY DID WHA USE MAC! Dats all mi si a gwaan….
Yup
Yzt never know a suh him stay see then him sing bout people fake
It’s so crazy to see such a big song that can be debatable for the song of the summer.. so how nobody is making money off it who is making the money… youths need to stop sign
Royalty money’s are paid out quarterly. Only way you make money right away would be off publishing if someone uses the song for ads, movies etc. An publishing only goes to performers and composers, ie person who write the song and write/make the riddim
Publishing can be split with more people than what he said…
It split two ways then more can be added on each side for example multiple singers, writers, producers.
@@joli8166 which is right so both teejay and pand should have give Mac 15/15 % and mac would’ve have 30% and dem have 35/35. Are give Mac atleast 25%
@@NiccoOnGo well seeing that tj will profit off performance he could give him part of his publishing but panda shouldn't give up anything because that will be how he eat. Mac collecting on the masters should be good enough he really doesn't deserve any of the publishing because he had no creative input in the song.
Deh yute yah a contradict everything wi hear on the voice notes and the fix not pressing him on his answers, this is poor journalism
30:10 to 31:01 explains how everything start #dothemaths
DJ Mac would be considered an executive producer because he's a part of the production in terms of mixing (as Panda said, he and Mac paid off the engineer). So Panda and DJ Mac would be considered as the producers on the track. Teejay also because he's listed as a producer also. The music game tricky. But basically, what he's saying is he and Teejay are the ones included in the Warner deal because they have rights to publishing on the song. If they had a deal to share publishing then Mac would be entitled to the publishing too. So DJ Mac would be receiving money from streams on all Platforms and maybe any deal with the song that pays out production royalties. Hope that helps.
Great representation. Can’t shake the fact that yeah, he has to side with the artiste. But is a good thing him and the Dj still converse. Him affi stay loyal to him agency and him artiste friend but hopefully, him and the Dj can fix things
Unno couldn't give him a proper interview not a questionnaire about Teejay & Mac? More songs him produce enuh
Nobody cares tbh
Once the song has a sync deal If mac is apart of the masters he suppose to get paid from that
Panda is so easy and very cool it’s a fitting name given to you real cool 😎
Da yute ago blinded until Teejay cross him like how him cross Mac
Facts
Y Ari keep insisting Mac is the executive producer. Money send out every 3 months to artist. Only mistake panda made was agreeing to put a next person on the song
So how dj mac said he reached out to tiktokers ???🤔
Some lie a tell. Both could reach out to Tik Tokers but really and truly if they didn't need DJ Mac why they used him. Obviously Teejay or Pamda could have done it. Jamaica always fall out because a lil money smh
How you not gonna tag the mans IG in the description?
“Dip” = Valiant
I hope u guys ask why other people can’t go on the riddim
