It seems to me, Player 1 (Kernal Corn) wipes the field. Then Player 2 (Cornucopia) fills all lanes with plants. Thus, Kernal Corn can NEVER do damage as Cornucopia will ALWAYS be played AFTER he wipes the field. Now, if you reversed it around and had Player 1 be Cornucopia, the results might be very different. Player 1 (Cornucopia) fills all lanes with plants. Then Player 2 (Kernal Corn) wipes any plants with 4 or less health. This would at least give Kernal Corn a chance to clear one lane and do some damage each turn. I think you should do this again, but have the players reversed. See if things are different. i feel he also had the advantage because kernel corn is now a zombie, so it only controlled the plants from the turn before, not the current turn, so it was even easier to regain the lost tempo with cornucopia
