He was a bright light during the teams dark days and an even brighter light during the good years. I wish that he had been part of a Stanley Cup winner. Rest In Peace good man and good team mate

I had Blue seats from 69-85. I saw all of those great years of the GAG line. My favorite Gilbert goal was the OT winner in game 4 of the 1974 semifinals vs Phila. MSG was a madhouse when he scored.
