Nice presentation. Having long professional and academic experience in the field of Accounts and Taxation, I would say that this Golden rule is not so golden. This is actually at the root of confusion in the mind of many students. Modern rule of debit and credit is more realistic and all transactions can be explained by this rule.
till now i have seen so many videos on this golden rules i am bit confused, but the way and timing you simplified with examples very smooth way..... i understood very well... thank you alot....

Before watching this video, I think that sale's n purchase accounts are nominal a/c because at a time of sales we earn something (means its are income,n this reason behind sales a/c is credited)and at a time when we make purchase we spend money for something (it is firms expense n it's the reason for which purchase a/c debited) ---- but I was wrong u proved that ---- and thanks for prove me wrong(I know that my English is not well,but I give my all) and again thanks a lot

Creditor’s A/C(Debit Personal A/C -The receiver) Dr. To Cash A/C(Credit Real A/C-What goes out )Cr. To Discount Received A/C(Credit Nominal A/C-. All incomes & gains)Cr. And all nominal account are closed at year end so at last transfer entry for discount received will be P&L A/C Dr 400 To Discount received A/C 400
