I've theorized that WOTC refuses to revisit Ulgrotha, the plane from the best set in Homelands. It's because they are scared of the dashing master rogue, Chandler, from single handedly defeating the Phyrexians. His powerful ability to destroy artifact creatures is unmatched.
Protection from Blue and Black Whenever equipped creature deals damage to an opponent proliferate and you may destroy target creature that was dealt damage this turn. Flavorwise i think that represents the damage a touch from a phyrexian did in this last story pretty well.
so this is how i learn the original greek pronunciation of ichor i have to say, there's an interesting dichotomy in how aichor and ihchor sound in comparison to one another, with something about aichor feeling nicer and better fitting for the blood of gods, while ihchor sounds ... well, icky and like something slimy or diseased edit: er, wait, no both pronunciations i'm talking about are purely english. greek and latin i would make it eechor, like in icarus to my ear, eechor lacks the gross edge of ikchor, but aichor has some sort of "high" quality unique to it. so my conclusion hasn't really changed, which is weird because it distances the original pronunciation from the original meaning ... though the greeks _also_ used ichor as a name for whey and gravy, so i guess that's not totally true since eechor is both mundane and not gross and thus perfect for those? the psychology of how words sound is weird
Methinks I am detecting a theme with these most recent videos, perhaps after them though, we may finally return to what is most needed. "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)"!
> There really isn't another [tutor] in the game that can search up such a wide variety of creatures and put them on the battlefield Chord of Calling: am I a joke to you?
It's very likely that those wouldn't be actually THE best cards ever, but rather things that are reasonably useful and reprinted often. Things like Duress or Negate, maybe
Am I weird for having enjoyed that standard format? I actually found the Caw-Blade mirror a very fun time. I played Jeskai instead of the normal UW, so I had access to Bolt, Grim Lavamancer and Pyroclasm. Those were pretty good against opposing Hawks.
1 more mana to do something is a pretty big deal. For Zenith vs Finale, you are looking at spending your turn 1 to have 3 mana on turn 2, rather than spending your turn 2 to have 4 mana on turn 3. Greens Sun vs Finale would already leave you a potential 4 mana behind your opponent in a mirror, just due to having Dryad Arbor that much sooner.
Why is green sunning for dryad arbor so good, it’s no different then a turn 1 llanowar elves other then green sun thins you deck a card. Doesn’t seem busted at all.

Chandler's their ace in the hole for getting out of MOM
Dude they would just create a version of the apocalypse chimes for whatever set they are in
Joven and his ferrets could solo Elesh Norn
I have Joven and Chandler and yes in my artifact shenanigans deck it's just perfect
@@j-lohome-slice7425 Chandler is my name, so I had to have a commander deck with him as commander.
Reactivating Nexus after attaching the Hammer to give it flying again is broken, dirty, and rude. I love it.
Would love if the last Mirrodin sword, the Dimir colored Sword, to “compleat” the set was Phyrexian themed.

The Mirrans should have just taken Mirrodin and pushed it somewhere else.
0:35 “Compleating” you say? 😏😏😏
cranking out pretty quick here lately, huh? I've seen no drop in quality, though, so keep them coming!

was there already a top 10 on vanilla creatures?
Pretty sure there was and if I remember right he also did top 10 french vanilla
Yep, though it hasn't been updated in a long while. Not sure it has changed much, though.
I'm not sure that a single vanilla creature has even been printed since then!
(I'm not joking. There have been at least 2.)

Chord of Calling: am I a joke to you?
Would love to see a top 10 of the cards with the most points in mtg history.

Sooo expensive :(

Proud of my boy Thrun :]
2:58 Am I missing something? Finale of Devastation does the same thing for one extra mana with the additional beneifit if X is 10 or more.

I'm surprised steel sabotage hasnt seen play in pauper
I'm amazed that I made it here when the view counter said "No views"
nice
No view counter, only poison
great video
Thrun?
Edit:
How the hell did I forgot about Inkmoth?
Do a top 10 ABU cards not in the power 9

Because if you draw that Llanowar Elves on Turn 10 it's dogshit, if you draw Green Sun's on Turn 10 it's the best card in your deck.
