Justin has such a great sense of humor. He can even laugh at himself. I love that guy. Chris you were in a really good mood, too, today. Enjoy your New Years!!!!!
Been a great year for you man! Enjoyed all the videos and getting the opportunity to work with you. Looking forward to see what 2021 holds! Thanks for all the entertainment!
Well said....Last video with the end of the afternoon deserves some advil and a few beer's, with my bad neck & back its hurting for sure after just watching
LOL....that would make a great t-shirt. Have a picture of the 220 holding Bertha in the bucket with a caption above it saying "That's a Big Damn Rock!".
It is truly a joy to watch a craftsman at his trade. Never seem to be in a hurry but work so efficiently and accurately stuff gets done fast. Great stuff!
Yep,that was definitely a `Big Damn Rock",,I was just as surprised as you were when your Volvo picked it up!! This past spring I dug out a much smaller boulder at my dad's house with his Kubota B21 backhoe, it pulled out of the dirt, but couldn't lift it more than a foot or so,was lifting front of tractor off the ground, sometimes these machines are amazing what they can do! Happy New Year!!
New bucket teeth = $600 New pins and bushings = $ 1,200 Watching Chris work like Fred Flintstone = priceless Come on Chris let's here a Yabba Dabba Doo.
Didn't think you were doing a video today, was a bit bummed since I look forward to them, then one appeared... AND it's over an hour long. Made my night. Thanks for uploading.
I cant get over the size and amount of boulders there are!! Thanks for keeping us entertained this long covid year! Looking forward to the next. See You next year!!!
It's always awesome when RUclips puts a Letsdig18 Chris vid in my afternoon feed I must have missed. It was a slow day on my RUclips channel list till now. I'll put off my afternoon nap till after this is over.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think Chris was working in New England on my property! Can’t dig a hole in the yard to plant a tree without ending up with a truck load of rocks! Great video Chris
To think over here on the coast, there are NO rocks. At all. Unless you buy some. Three hrs drive time sure makes a difference. A MOST happy new year to you bud.
Hey Chris, I hope you priced in more than just a new set of bucket teeth plus pins and bushings! That poor suffering 220 is going to be knackered for sure by the end of this job. Ouch!!! May you continue to be up to your ears in dirt for 2021 and many best wishes to a very skilful operator and his family! Ron
Having been in the blasting business, I would give you an A+ in dealing with those big damn rocks. Do you think the owners knew they were going to have this much work developing this site. If not, their budget is going to hurt. You can not get sandstone to shatter when you shoot it. It breaks into chunks (boulders) like you are contending with. Also, being in the location the site is, the blaster cannot overshoot it to try to break the rock. Too dangerous. Great video, brings back some memories.
Chris, you're the best. Happy New Year to you, Justin, and to all who help you bring us these video's. And not forgetting your clients, and some of their beautiful properties.
Thanks again for allowing us to follow along with you and you explaining how truly crazy some of these jobs are. Have a great New Years & see ya next year!
Could hold a end of year rock concert there bro, the flat rocks would make a good stage for the bands. Happy new year from the little village of New Zealand
Digging through that blasted rock bed is an appropriate way to end 2020. Every bucket of rock you have to wiggle out of the ground represents some problem that 2020 offered up. Somehow your videos helped take my mind off of it all Thank you Happy New year's
Well said Chris, that is what Pop said 40 yrs ago they do not make land no more that is why so many are building on low areas and not so great land. Happy New Year to you and yours
We’ve all been discussing this and we’ve decided that we don’t want you to go back to the animal hospital. It’s too hard on the equipment. Not worth it!😂😂
The only problem with that is where do you draw the line? You get into something like that you get to a point where you are committed! One can only hope that the rock clause in the contract is enough to cover the cost to equipment damages.
Good morning ☕🚬. Happy New Year to all of you. This shows that you have a good organizing mind. It will work well for you in the future. This comes from grandpa's practical advice.
If I were closer to you, with a Dump Truck. I want to Thank You again for the videos and how you explain to your viewers. My you be prosperous in the NEW YEAR. KEEP ON DIGGING!!!
The fact you haven’t broke a shank on the bucket is either a testament to the quality of the bucket or your skill as an operator. You’d think they’d leave the breaker there for the hidden monsters
I think its pretty cool that you involve the same folks in projects, shows that building a good relationship with other businesses is still important. And still find room to squeeze in the occasional start up like ole Justin and his battered old ford, which I need to look into getting me one of them dump boxes with the convertable gate
Really enjoyed hearing you give us explanation about building there, and about the rock issues. You should start answering a few questions more often. Happy New Year Chris! 🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍
And to think that the Romans hand-chiseled similar sandstone into round balls and then marked them with a number to indicate how heavy they were for the siege engines. the balls weighed anywhere from 200 to 300 pounds based on the ones that have been found.
I'm a union marble mason retired after 41 yrs ........ what your dealing with is a very fine grained granite , those are very strong . If you pour water on it ....... you will see the fine speckly grain in it.
That Vet Job site is a great way to age a excavator in a couple of weeks. Ready for trade in volvo lol. The Amount of money gone into that site and the footings haven't even been poored yet makes my wallet burn.
It's been a pleasure watching this past year. I have truly enjoyed all your vids and will continue to watch in 2021. Happy New Year to you and your family. Happy New Year to anyone who might read this.
Just noticed Justin’s truck doesn’t have a working reverse beeper , it must one of those new eco friendly non noise poluting models . Have a great 2021 every one. Cheers and beers from Aus
Hey Justin ‘’honk honk’’ lol. That skidsteer is awesome, lots of power. Thanks for explaining why people build on rocky ground and not good ground also why that rock is not good for construction use. I did wonder why on earth anyone would build on such rocky ground.
I grew up in "Blue Stone" country where an exposed ledge can be very valuable. The first year I was town highway superintendent we had a road where a curve was made years ago because of a piece of bed rock jutting out . My guys said we couldn't break it down to move the road over. They didn't challange me again after I rented an electric breaker and a stone saw. It took the 5 of us a full day but we gained 5 ' of road.
I really think you should toot your horn three times for that huge rock...LOL..Your so good with your machines and you keep them so clean. AWESOME to see you work ,what a change
From Nebraska, I'm just AMAZED at the rock you guy's have. If I had a fleet of semi's I'd be taking up your offer to get those megaliths off your hands. All I see is 💲💲💲🤑!!!!! Selling Rock is huge here.
all those beautiful rocks! Ok Crumbly sand stone rocks. HA. In Iowa a tandem load of large Granite Boulders sells for $1000 a load. Happy New Year Chris
In England that sandstone is worth a lot of money, people pay for it as a decorative feature, for wildlife habitat if stacked properly or for retaining the land
Wow, those were big awesome boulders! You should be able to sell them. But that may take too long. But, have a "guten rutsch!" A good swing into the new year!
Justin has such a great sense of humor. He can even laugh at himself. I love that guy. Chris you were in a really good mood, too, today. Enjoy your New Years!!!!!

Well said....Last video with the end of the afternoon deserves some advil and a few beer's, with my bad neck & back its hurting for sure after just watching
We saw what you did there with that sticker! LOL
LOL....that would make a great t-shirt. Have a picture of the 220 holding Bertha in the bucket with a caption above it saying "That's a Big Damn Rock!".
New slogan & mini backdrop graphic for the channel.
Perfect 👌
Or the huge bucket cup
Chris, you should use those rocks to make your very own stonehenge at your house.
Enjoyed all the videos this year Chris, hope you have a happy and blessed new year
Justin is always good entertainment ☺️
Seems like a character for sure
I love to listen to Justin laugh he has a laugh like no other. Lol
I really appreciate the patience you have, Chris. I know it takes a ton to get all these great videos out to us daily. Best wishes, Happy New Year!
Run it like a rental!! PS throw the rocks into Justin's truck from as high as ya can. Love seeing him in videos!
@@warrenotey8258 I don't think there's anyone who's not crazy bout ol justin!!
That animal hospital is definitely on the rocks
I dread to think what the site prep has cost. It will be into seven figures before they start the footings and lay the first brick!
😂
Don’t think that machine will ever be the same after he’s done on this job!!!
Good to have a friend like Justin to break up the monotony nobody said you could dig that mountain thanks for sharing
It is truly a joy to watch a craftsman at his trade. Never seem to be in a hurry but work so efficiently and accurately stuff gets done fast. Great stuff!
Dang, that kind of digging has to be hard on the boom, cylinders, pins and bucket. I'm sure there will a maint. video in January. 😯😯
Yep,that was definitely a `Big Damn Rock",,I was just as surprised as you were when your Volvo picked it up!! Dustin has the best sense of humour. Glad to see you guys working together again this year.
New bucket teeth = $600
New pins and bushings = $ 1,200
Watching Chris work like Fred Flintstone = priceless
Come on Chris let's here a Yabba Dabba Doo.
Yea you right, lmaoooo
More like 2000 for new teeth on them
I looked up teeth they are between 200 and 400 a tooth depending on which ones you get
No matter how many times I watch, it’s always impressive how much that skid steer can push. Good stuff!
You know your pushing when it bogs the whole engine down
Cool explanation, when we lived in Northern Georgia, the neighbor built a pond that never held water! Great job abd enjoy the videos.
I am impressed once more by the Volvo, terrific breakout and lift capabilities.....operator not to shabby either.
Good New Year to all...😉🏴
It continues to amazes me at how much work a small machine can do in a short period of time.
Some of those would make tables for your annual bbq at the farm.. be an awesome conversation piece and dug up by you!!
Thanks for entertaining us during these awful times. I hope you and your family have a great new years and are safe in 2021 much love from England.
Didn't think you were doing a video today, was a bit bummed since I look forward to them, then one appeared... AND it's over an hour long. Made my night. Thanks for uploading.

Thank you for educating viewers and showing them about the rocks. I like that you entertain and educate viewers all in one video.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think Chris was working in New England on my property! Can’t dig a hole in the yard to plant a tree without ending up with a truck load of rocks! Great video Chris
Thanks for all the awesome videos of your work. I truly enjoyed them.😎👍🇺🇲
To think over here on the coast, there are NO rocks. At all. Unless you buy some. Three hrs drive time sure makes a difference. A MOST happy new year to you bud.
1 hour long - Dang Chris going out with a bang
Sure did, I bet the first video of the new year will be just as long if not longer.
Was gonna like your comment but its at 69 so ill leave it lol
It looks like this could be a lifetime dump site if the owner is patient to get it covered.
He has to take out 6ft or more of dirt and rock in some spots of this job
Hey Chris, I hope you priced in more than just a new set of bucket teeth plus pins and bushings! That poor suffering 220 is going to be knackered for sure by the end of this job. Ouch!!! May you continue to be up to your ears in dirt for 2021 and many best wishes to a very skilful operator and his family! Ron

Talk about a rough ride and that childhood determination getting those rocks out great video have a happy New year
Thanks again for allowing us to follow along with you and you explaining how truly crazy some of these jobs are.
Have a great New Years & see ya next year!

Justin is like a brand new papa with his new-old dump truck! Love that guy. Ya'lls conversations sometimes are epic!
Your gonna have to get that thing repined and bushings it's gonna be in the same shape as Dirt Perfects 120 by the end of this job.
Lol... he said he has the stuff in a video the other day, just waiting until this job is done.
Why u got to down play DP ? If you're so rich, fix it for him

My family been doing dump truck since the sixties great to see operator that cares about a man's truck that is very rare you are great operator
Happy New Year Chris. This video is the hardest I've ever seen one of your machines work, good job.
We’ve all been discussing this and we’ve decided that we don’t want you to go back to the animal hospital. It’s too hard on the equipment. Not worth it!😂😂
Hard on equipment = $$$$$$$$$$$!
The only problem with that is where do you draw the line? You get into something like that you get to a point where you are committed! One can only hope that the rock clause in the contract is enough to cover the cost to equipment damages.
What's amazing is how those rocks were formed. They make great natural property edging.
Good morning ☕🚬.
Happy New Year to all of you.
This shows that you have a good organizing mind.
It will work well for you in the future.
This comes from grandpa's practical advice.
Is this Flintstone with his modern Dino! Have a healthy 2021 and take care. Greets from the Netherlands.
Playing with mud today that dried out many years ago.
Have a great night and hope 2021 brings many interesting jobs.

Know what the difference is between brown nose and ring around the collar is?
Depth Perception.😂😂😂😂
You asked for no mud. Careful what you wish for! Them's big rocks! 🗿
Thanks for answering all the questions I didn’t ask about location, rocks, etc. very informative and interesting!
I think its pretty cool that you involve the same folks in projects, shows that building a good relationship with other businesses is still important. And still find room to squeeze in the occasional start up like ole Justin and his battered old ford, which I need to look into getting me one of them dump boxes with the convertable gate
Actually, i was wondering why you wouldn't use more of the rocks you dig out for something else. Thanks for explaining it! Makes total sense now. :)
Your 220 is flexing her muscles 💪
Wishing you a Happy New Year. Be safe and prosperous. Take care.
Really enjoyed hearing you give us explanation about building there, and about the rock issues. You should start answering a few questions more often. Happy New Year Chris! 🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍
Yo Rocky. Thanks for the great videos . Glad this year is almost over. Be safe
Finish the old year with Rock n Roll 😂
Happy New Year!
And to think that the Romans hand-chiseled similar sandstone into round balls and then marked them with a number to indicate how heavy they were for the siege engines. the balls weighed anywhere from 200 to 300 pounds based on the ones that have been found.

We were thinking of Fred Flinstone in the rock quarry, the size of these boulders are something else.LOL Awesome video
Excellent video Chris! All the best for 2021!
That Vet Job site is a great way to age a excavator in a couple of weeks. Ready for trade in volvo lol. The Amount of money gone into that site and the footings haven't even been poored yet makes my wallet burn.
