Slight correction: The epitaph does not have innate cold, but deals a guaranted cold proc on top of the statuses it applies via status chance. This is really neat as it allows for status combinations that would not otherwise be possible, for example cold + viral + heat + blast (innate) + radiation (accelerated isotope).
The Ocucor augment was a Nightwave reward and can't be farmed in game, hence the cost on the market. Baro's brought other NW augments so it's sure to come around at some point.

I thought like this before too but having gone through this games economy for years i can for sure say if something gets reintroduced and is farmable till no tomorrow its proce will never return to its peak. I cant see the mod going over 30p in maybe a year or so. This also happened with exodia contagion. I had to wait a year before it was worth 100p again

One other thing about the occucor is that once u have the tendrils going there is no need to aim anymore. It's pretty much a homing beam with the tendrils active
Its still useful for high health enemies like bosses and such to keep the main beam trained, but yeah, for low to mid level room clearing, all it takes is a few good kills and then you can run around the rest of the mission spraying at walls and still killing everything in a 30m radius lol
I'd like to shout out the Akarius Prime, it got much, much better after Jade Shadows. Modding it for Viral/Heat and adding Pistol elementalist gives it really strong blast and heat procs, while PE also gets the reload speed down while still letting you run Cascadia Flare. Innate blast also lets you drop Fulmination since it's not super necessary. If you're running a nourish setup you can also drop your Viral mods for Magnetic, the combo of a high damage big AoE secondary that does Magnetic, Blast, Viral, and Heat all at once is absolutely cracked. Just make sure you run ammo mutation of some sort.
one thing a lot of people forget about the furis is that it has an augment. It basically makes it so your warframe has infinite healing, I remember wanting to make a build for the weapon years before incarnon dropped and I was so giddy when it got an incarnon form
The kompressa and dual toxocyst are the goats... was using epitaph for most of the time as a primer as secondaries never interested me. But when i got kompressa and then dual toxocyst... the game kinda changed.
I just started with the game.. I had it the whole time in my library but didn't know how good it is and never played it before, heard about it trough first descendant. I'm sooo happy there people like you that are still making so much good content for this game.
My Magnetic Kuva Nukor with the Overguard Arcane from the new event can shred pretty decently, it struggles a bit against Grineer without some kind of damage boost but it still deals decent damage and can vaporize Corpus for anyone who wants a mix between a primer and a damage dealer.
The fact we have mods now that allow for double elements is insane, you could have a magnetic, radiation,viral,heat,and another element on kyva nukor makes it have the most status effects out of weapons in the game lol
Been using the furis as my main damage dealer ever since it first came around. It was already great but armor and status changes have launched its power into the statosphere. blast procs into the millions on fully armored enemies without priming, or heat procs that pretty much oneshot levelcap enemies 😊
Just came back after 5 years. Atomos is still my favorite secondary and now I just need to get the new incarnant version. That's going to take me a while. Lots of catching up to do.
Do it, the atomos incarnon is sooo strong. Mod it for viral+heat and use cascadia flare for the arcane. 1 grenade shot from the incarnon kills big groups of enemies on sp, and you get 21 shots per incarnon charge. Takes 2 shots if one of them doesn't get a heat proc on them but it's unlikely.
I didn't like the incarnon form so much, but the incarnon evolutions gave a huge boost and made the Atomos a really enjoyable weapon for early Steel Path.
A much cheaper version of the sporelacer is sporelacer + lovetap + arcroid, it doesn't require levelling vox Solaris at all and only needs rank 1 entrati, much better than the rank 4 Solaris needed for splat. It's not as high DPS, but it is so much easier to get that it can almost be considered an early game weapon, I'd highly recommend crafting it if you haven't yet ranked vox solaris

I realize just how underpowered I am when the "budget version" of every weapon has 4-5 mods AT LEAST that I don't have (not that I have any of the weapons). Kinda discouraging as mr6, I just want a weapon that feels powerful on Uranus/Neptune like mine did on Mars/Ceres. Feels like everything dies so much slower, and I'm not getting any new mods/weapons to make up for the lack in power
for the kuva nukor Impact progenitor frame is not a bad idea because of the mod Hemorrhage which has a 35% chance to deal Slash proc honestly decent build. You can melt thru armour with the heat status effect and slash melt thru health its armour strip is quite fast too give it a try and see its good fun to see the armour and health decimate
Don't do that, especially not for a damage build. The Nukor's fire rate is too high to be inside Hemorrhage's optimal proc conversion range, plus the slash tics hit like a wet noodle at best. You're way better off choosing a different element and using the mod slot for sth with more, excuse the pun, impact.
Onos is a weapon that is great against any enemy it is great for any build, but personally, I prefer Nidus or Nidus Prime it makes it easy to build its incarnon charge then it can destroy the enemies with its armcanon like firing it has a firing that affects every enemy close to you infront then focuses till it becomes like firing a charge shot from opticor then has inate heat damage no matter how its moded for the shot its even a great way to solo Eidalons.

I've been working on ocucor build for a while, tested many options, even have kind of a god roll riven for it (ms, crit damge, fire rate, -puncture ) but there is still huge problem with ocucor for me - if you're playing in squad there might be not enough enemies around to charge up tendrils, thus you often find yourself in scenarios where you spend a lot of time killing 1 enemy while moving from one group of enemies to another. Hate to admit it given how much i invested into the build but ocucor truly shines only in high densinity missions like sp survival (again assuming you're playing solo).
Cicron doesn't do more damage than the nucor. With a much superior crit multiplier, adarza or smeeta crit buffs (which are while unpredictable -are very reliable) make it a superior option. Not to mention that the nucors hidden status gets counted by a galvanized shot. You might have noticed a drop off in damage, because you've used the flare, scorch and viral on your "damage" build, while (counterintuitively) you should be using primed heat, elementalist and encumber. That thing scales to the moon and back
I have gotten an absolute metric ton of use out of the Cyanex. It's just SO GOOD and shredding through enemies that it along with the Ignis has made me incredibly bad at aiming in Warframe. Most of the time, I just don't need to lol
Synoid gammacor is a good budget primer, too. Want viral+magnetic+radiation+heat or electric on lower ranks? It's your bro. 2 formas and 112% status chance with decent firerate and you've got a decent primer. Granted, it's single target only, so useful only on heavier units mostly. 5 forma and incarnon, though, and it's gonna do more than decent amount of damage.

Hear me out, kuva seer, magnetic corrosive and viral, may not be as many statuses as kompressa, or as much range as epitaph, but theoretically a pretty good primer due to its small AOE, fast fire rate, and ability to have all 3 damage boosting status effects
People slip on Spectre Vandal with insane sladh procs and good enough crit chance. With a riven disposition of 5 and relatively low prices for those you can build an absolute laser scalpel that cuts through everything
personal ammendments to any interested. kuva nukor check out wiki and punch thru (might be in beam weapons). arcane avenger(and combat discipline) something to consider as it's flat crit chance bonus and ATM with BoB event it's accessible (put nukor up to a 45% ish chance to crit and can take advantage of the 5x base multiply
Lol, returned in warframe after 3 years and there was one abandoned Kuva Lich with Nukor which i randomly summoned while messing around with Wisp and didn't even know about mechanics of Liches
4A=foray and i cant remember but i think you can get microwave with peculiar growth mod. but maybe not. hopefully one day we'll be able to run skins on nukor. well; non retextures. (my 9mm warcrime beam-gun)
I personally love the Lato, but it requires a big investment just to get the Lato vandal, and has an unconventional playstyle where u have to swap a lot in order to get max damage. Its kindof like the budget dual tox but more expensive...
Atomos was for years my favorite secondary. And is so strong now with the incarnon buffs. normal fire is better than incarnon fire IMO. But yeah!! should be in the list!!!
I remember years ago when I first started playing, I was MR7 of 8 at the time and I was stuck on some missions. Someone recommended the atomos and it’s still my most used secondary years later
I tried ur build but its so hard to get the first kill in steel path to build up tendrils. Once it gets going its fine but trying to get it started sucks
If you're lacking starting damage, try using a heat-based build with Cascadia Flare. I've found it ramps up much quicker, but falls off way before encumber does. So no good if you're running level-cap, but any reasonable level of steel path is very doable.

Secondary Outburst is pretty goated paired with Melee Crescendo. It is also easy to stack up Crescendo with the ground finisher changes.

You should consider slapping gunco on lex bc it's multiplicative separate to base damage bonuses.
No mention of the Tenet Plinx? It's pretty much a hidden gem. High crit, decent status, infinite ammo and amazing secondary aoe that pulls enemies in.

Don't mod toxin on your dual toxo, the toxin you get from the frenzy buff combines with modded elements, like electric to form corro for instance
I run a 60/60 to always have corrosive and 100 sc personally
The damage is so high it doesnt matter and having always corrosive is a hugh difference in armor shred in high lvls

Electric is now a good choice on the Kuva Nukor. Might actually be the best choice for it.

Y’all the átomos is SO SLEEPED ON. With a crit riven and its incarnon upgrades it melts ANYTHING. Like mine deals 200k PER TICK. It’s crazy

Atomos was for years my favorite secondary. And is so strong now with the incarnon buffs. normal fire is better than incarnon fire IMO. But yeah!! should be in the list!!!
I remember years ago when I first started playing, I was MR7 of 8 at the time and I was stuck on some missions. Someone recommended the atomos and it’s still my most used secondary years later
I tried ur build but its so hard to get the first kill in steel path to build up tendrils. Once it gets going its fine but trying to get it started sucks
If you're lacking starting damage, try using a heat-based build with Cascadia Flare. I've found it ramps up much quicker, but falls off way before encumber does.
So no good if you're running level-cap, but any reasonable level of steel path is very doable.
Anything like nukor ocucor kompressa are really good with alot of heat now

Do they have plans to release weapon mods for Occucor in farmable ways in the future? Weapon specific mods shouldn't cost 300+ plat. That should be reserved for god rolls on rivens etc.
