FYI Thomann do a 50w+50w stereo pedal thing that could potentially run two 4 ohm cabs and give you 100w and that will run off 24v. It's less than $100US. That could be a bit of a buker's delight if you've got a pair of small cabs - could even stick a guitar through one and bass through the other.
Have we finally the solution to the famed campfire jam from all your acoustic bass videos. This plus a ubass probably weighs as much as a single acoustic guitar
@titichartay7216 our good friend @ampthebassplayer recommended a headphone amp a few videos ago and that's what I use now, directly from the out of my pedalboard to my ears and I don't bother any neighbors or wife anymore hehe.
Have you played the Boss Dual Cube? I considered that at some point, but it's almost as expensive as the Bass Katana. So This is on my radar if I need something battery powered. I can't really find a place to buy it right now lol.
This is the first battery powered amp I've ever tried, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. Joyo didn't say anything about a release date, but I have the product page in the description.
What would you use a battery powered amp for?
Camping for sure, in my car, bedroom, the park, on ohhh a sailboat!
Doesn’t show for sale anywhere, yet
Joyo didn't give me a release date, and I wrongly assumed it would be out by the time it shipped to me and I got my video done. Sorry about that!

It's a nice and upgraded copy of a Roland Cube, I used mine with bass for so long until in a stupid moment of my life traded it for a pedal.
Oh dear NEVER give up a Cube ! Hope you find a replacement.

I use my Roland mini cube with AA batteries and it is awesome not worrying about an extra cord.
How long does it last on a charge?
Sounds good for the size.
