This was my first observation. My friend said BBM supporters were celebrating online. I said we must have made a huge evolutionary leap because it's only human to celebrate even offline. My family and I went out the day after the quick count, to the local courthouse, the mall and drove around several towns in Cavite. Everything was quiet or people were just going about their business. We are a people who celebrate everything even a job promotion or kindergarten graduations. Even the media should have been covering celebrations nationwide, but instead, we saw crestfallen anchors. Even my husband's family who are BBM diehards are eerily quiet. As in no phone calls or messages, although we had last parted on election day with no hard feelings. When another friend observed the 'ominous' silence and said something must be up, I answered that it was either that or the real victors were grieving. And lastly, a friend shared a video of a woman gyrating and rolling on the street with glee that "Bungbung" had won. And yet, again, no one else was there to celebrate with her. Why? Funny, enough I checked the local elections and the results were a mix. In fact in Upland Cavite, a number of mayors and congressmen were not pro BBM, unless there was no opponent. You'd think a landslide victory on that scale would trickle down to the local levels. Even as the national count was wrapping up, I checked the overseas votes and found they were mostly uncounted, even if they had voted first. The COMELEC said the speedy count was due to good Internet connection. How I wish our daily Internet connection were just as good or that online schooling all over the country could be just as smooth. This election made history--biggest campaign rallies, biggest voter turnout, biggest margin and biggest winning number of votes. It is certainly one for the books.
Same observation! With that kind of "landslide" win, celebrations would have been spontaneous...on the night itself, people would have gone out to the streets to celebrate...pero wala, ang tahimik...

So possible na manipulated ang botohan. Since, I'm a statistics student, hindi agad ako naniwala. I had to check it myself. So I encoded the data, as you can see to the pictures. To my surprise, yes the r-value is 1 so does the r^2. So ano ba ibig-sabihin niyan. According to my Prof. Sir J. Albos, In statistics, if R value and/or R^2 value is equal or almost close to 1, it implies na biased yung data. (There's no such thing as perfectly linear relationship, not unless nga manipulated or controlled yung dataset). r=1 means a relationship between two variables, x (vote count ni leni) and y (vote count ni marcos), in which the change in value of one variable is exactly proportional to the change in value of the other. Mapapansin niyo yung gap nila is consistent around 47%. r^2=1 indicates that the response variable can be perfectly explained without error by the predictor variable. I was so disappointed with the result. Never did I felt so sad for the country. It showed how immature our political system remains based on personalities. Also, the false narratives started years before have taken their toll. I could not believe the numbers. However, what could be done? If there was indeed cheating, bahala na ang Diyos. I decided to move on and accept the sad reality and see how things would turn out after six years. If things would not turn out to be better for the country, then its the majority of people who should regret what they voted for in this national election (if indeed there was no hocus-focus). May mga voters din na inabot na nang 12AM kagabi bago nakaboto tapos around 7 or 8PM, may nakapagpasa kaagad ng votes. I don‘t know pero tingin ko, ang daming anomalya at kailangang maimbestigahan sa lalong madaling panahon.

As part of the youth, I haven’t recalled most elections but you stating that it was unusual for most people to be in grief more than joy was a bit reassuring that my emotions were valid. My parents after the elections kept on reiterating how they were so used to these types of wins that it felt like a norm already which lead me to question if my tears made sense. This was my first observation. My friend said BBM supporters were celebrating online. I said we must have made a huge evolutionary leap because it's only human to celebrate even offline. My family and I went out the day after the quick count, to the local courthouse, the mall and drove around several towns in Cavite. Everything was quiet or people were just going about their business. We are a people who celebrate everything even a job promotion or kindergarten graduations. Even the media should have been covering celebrations nationwide, but instead, we saw crestfallen anchors. Even my husband's family who are BBM diehards are eerily quiet. As in no phone calls or messages, although we had last parted on election day with no hard feelings. When another friend observed the 'ominous' silence and said something must be up, I answered that it was either that or the real victors were grieving. And lastly, a friend shared a video of a woman gyrating and rolling on the street with glee that "Bungbung" had won. And yet, again, no one else was there to celebrate with her. Why? Funny, enough I checked the local elections and the results were a mix. In fact in Upland Cavite, a number of mayors and congressmen were not pro BBM, unless there was no opponent. You'd think a landslide victory on that scale would trickle down to the local levels. Even as the national count was wrapping up, I checked the overseas votes and found they were mostly uncounted, even if they had voted first. The COMELEC said the speedy count was due to good Internet connection. How I wish our daily Internet connection were just as good or that online schooling all over the country could be just as smooth. This election made history--biggest campaign rallies, biggest voter turnout, biggest margin and biggest winning number of votes. It is certainly one for the books.
Same observation! With that kind of "landslide" win, celebrations would have been spontaneous...on the night itself, people would have gone out to the streets to celebrate...pero wala, ang tahimik...

Hi guys, I'm Raven Eduardo, BS-Statistics student. I'm solid supporter (not fanatic) of Leni Robredo. Last night, tinanggap ko na talo na talaga siya. Not until, I heard rumors na possible na nag karoon ng dayaan based sa computation ng isang Applied Math Student.
Rumor: Vote count of BBM and Leni Robredo is perfectly correlated (r=1.thus, r^2=1). So possible na manipulated ang botohan.
Since, I'm a statistics student, hindi agad ako naniwala. I had to check it myself. So I encoded the data, as you can see to the pictures. To my surprise, yes the r-value is 1 so does the r^2. So ano ba ibig-sabihin niyan.
According to my Prof. Sir J. Albos, In statistics, if R value and/or R^2 value is equal or almost close to 1, it implies na biased yung data. (There's no such thing as perfectly linear relationship, not unless nga manipulated or controlled yung dataset).
r=1 means a relationship between two variables, x (vote count ni leni) and y (vote count ni marcos), in which the change in value of one variable is exactly proportional to the change in value of the other. Mapapansin niyo yung gap nila is consistent around 47%.
r^2=1 indicates that the response variable can be perfectly explained without error by the predictor variable.
Using regression, as shown below, I can perfectly predict kung ilan ang magiging vote count ni BBM kapag may idea ako kung ilan ang vote count ni Leni. Equation presented below.
Marcos Vote = 2.074*Leni Vote + 326821.654.
This might be the algorithm na ginamit sa program. If in any case, programmed talaga ang botohan.

I was so disappointed with the result. Never did I felt so sad for the country. It showed how immature our political system remains based on personalities. I don‘t know pero tingin ko, ang daming anomalya at kailangang maimbestigahan sa lalong madaling panahon.

Dapat talagang e investigate yan and do the manual counting so that it is really transparent, credible and reliable. Mas mabuti pag ipainvestigate natin soon to find the real truth and so that ma cut off na ang mga vicious circle of sins that is creeping within politicians and finally destroyed the virus of corruption happening in Ph politics that is pressing down harsely the lives of Filipino people. If transparent ang comelect they have to explain sa taong bayan ang mga various irregularities that is happening, kasi ang taong bayan ay nag alnayzed then, meaning muklat ang kanilang mga mata sa totoong nagyayari. I experienced Martial law and during that time walang freedom of the press. If you say negative or criticize the government, madami nangyayari. But then sana nga maging mabuti sila ngayon and prove to people that they deserve to win and will improve the lives of the people.
As part of the youth, I haven’t recalled most elections but you stating that it was unusual for most people to be in grief more than joy was a bit reassuring that my emotions were valid.
My parents after the elections kept on reiterating how they were so used to these types of wins that it felt like a norm already which lead me to question if my tears made sense.
