Miss those times. People could afford to buy a home and rent was cheap. There wasn’t a massive homeless population , and there was no douche bag hipsters!
in the los santos map grove street should be exactly to the left of the camera with east los santos to the right side. ahead is facing westwards towards San Fierro and behind is the Vagos Hoods around the coastline
Spruce Street Compton based off San Andreas but the local gang is Tree Top Pirus.. prob listen to gang member music such as DJ Quick.. Hi-C and YG 400.... if you have more question i can answer all gang related and tuff answers from Los Angeles.. GTA 5 not really accurate anymore.. lived in during late 80s early 90s..
It’s so weird seeing LA during my dad’s time, and then seeing it now. It’s like, nothing changed when you see Union Station or City Hall (though some areas used to be barren according to my dad). The weirdest part is 1:57, assuming that’s either 2nd or 3rd Street by Little Tokyo or whatever lol, there’s usually a shit ton of tents there. Looks a lot prettier then, though the gangs back then were probably a lot worse than now due to gentrification and all that bullshit.
Lucky . I was born in 1989 fs I don’t cherish youth. Being a teenager after 00 was so shit, sure I think people today even say that the homeless crisis in Los Angeles got worse post 2000
I love all the films that were done in LA in the 90s that I wish i had been older , because it comes and goes and as a child you don’t fully recognise that times can drastically change , you just think the time in the 90s if that’s when you are a kid will be similar when you’re an adult but the world went and changed itself in a big way post 00, not for the better in my opinion, it was like the western world wanted to distance itself from even the late 90s and almost erase it rather than recognise the good things that existed then. Realistically, the world didn’t need social media but somehow it invaded lifestyles and has made people utterly reliant on it despite there being a time when people could cope without it. It’s sad really. Your video truly is a time capsule to a better time when the sun shined a bit more (and it might not be the smog) haha have a good day bro

Rent wasn't cheap, the average weekly income back then was 200 to 300 dollars if you had a full time job with 40 hours plus overtime.
Most people spoke English back then.
"See you around, officer"
