Lecture 10 (2019): Heat Transfer by Prof Josua Meyer

This lecture is on internal forced convection and focused on nomenclature (pipes, tubes, channels, etc.), hydraulic diameter and the developing and fully developed flow reginmes with reference to friction factor and heat transfer coefficients. This lecture (16 April 2019) was based on the textbook of Cengel and Ghajar (5th edition) and was presented as part of a heat transfer class to the fourth-year students by Prof Josua Meyer, Head of the Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering of the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
