Yeah, but it’s debatably harder than Fox vs. Marth. Both Zain and Mang0 think Fox does better against Marth than Falco does.
@@MrcaliciousHyphy Fox always does better theoretically, but Falco's laser pressure in neutral is way better than having to constantly undershoot/overshoot as Fox is better in practice.

To be fair, they only complain about Zain's Marth. That's just a clear testament that Zain is a godlike player.
Falco does better than Fox at most levels cuz of lasers. No Marths can powershield them as well as Zain does, and the fact that Falco can apply uncommital pressure to find openings with laser makes it much easier for him to get the openings he needs to win, whereas Fox has to put his neck out there and just purely has to use close range tools to outspace and find openings against this character that outranges the shit out of him and can delete his stock off literally the slightest fuck up. In theory Falco might do worse in a world where every Marth is sending like 80% of his lasers back at him the way Zain does, but that just isnt reality. Against literally every Marth, except Zain, having that non-committal tool that can lock down Marth from just constantly swinging at you whenever he wants, and gives you the frame advantage to pressure him into openings is VERY advantageous compared to how Fox has to approach the MU. End of the day Marth still beats both characters tho.
The set was looking unwinnable for Mango in games 2-3.
@Matias Flores Zain isn't a "new player" lol. No "new players" win majors. Everyone at this level is a top player.

Jacques L newness doesn’t necessarily have anything to do w the skill of a player. In the grand scheme of things, Zain definitely is a “new” player

Amazing comeback from Mango. I love that if you go from 12:25 to 13:25, in just a minute's time, Mango goes from nearly getting knocked out at 4th place in Game 4 to gaining a huge 4-to-2 stock lead in Game 5. He is momentum in Melee

You can tell most of the couch are spacies mains. In the beginning was Zain was flat out playing Mang0 they're all complaining about Marth and his abilities. Last game when Mang0 starts doing spacie shit it's suddenly the most surprising thing ever lol.

Ultimate is always being changed which means you can never really master it on the Ninja level like these two have. also every time Ultimate gets tweaked, they remove a potential meta-game. long live Melee!!!

@mendaix No I dont think many people actually like him. But atleast he is honest about being a dick and having an ego. People dont like HIM, but they do like the fact that he is there, because its fun to have a blatant "villain". Its much better than other players that pretend to be super humble and nice but in reality have a huge ego and just want people to see them as the victim and be the center of attention. Thats just frustrating and cringey to watch.

@mendaix tons of people love leffen. hes one of the most inspiring fox players the world has ever seen. he might have a bad attitude, but doesnt change the fact that he has accomplished phenomenal things in his career playing smash.
I think people overplay it a lot because the things people say about him were true. Keyword WERE true. He is just like everyone else in the scene nowadays. Man but back then, boy did I hate the guy.
