agreed! I don't have any old tweed amps, but I'm on the look-out for that exact reason! It's really interesting how it responds to clean boosts, it doesn't get any louder, it just compresses in on itself.
@@mahantheband right! I had my jtm45 dialed in with my fuzz and volume knob maxed. Great Hendrixy tone. I got a super reverb and paired the amps together. Amazing tone. However, I had to lower the volume knob on all my pedals, especially fuzz to make the amps respond evenly. Insane amount of headroom those supers have. Excited to hear the new record.
