We use to go to Myrtle Beach every year, we haven’t went in a few years and I was so surprised last year (2021)when we went. The boardwalk wood looked like the wood needed replaced - it was all cracked and ruff and old looking and the sidewalks around the boardwalk and the giant Ferris wheel (that was down for major service) was filthy and full of chewing gum, any one heard of a pressure washer? The overall feeling also felt unsafe in the actual city of Myrtle Beach. I will say if you go north or south of Myrtle Beach city (north Myrtle or murrells inlet) it was still nice.

Jeremy, we’re heading there in June and will be staying a few miles from all the action at the Cabana. Is there affordable parking in town near all the shopping and attractions? Or is it better to just take an Uber? Thanks
Yes, there is definitely parking all around the area. Some might be a little further from the action, but it can be found for a price. Depending on how far away you are from the BLVD, an uber might be an affordable option, especially if you plan on participating in adult beverages.
@@samanthaburket5753 Yes, if you are wanting to get all around the beach to view all the different things, it is definitely spread out and could get costly quick! If at all possible, rent a car while on vacation!
My family goes every year for the past 30 years ( I'm 14), don't ware anything that said Myrtle Beach ( same for new York) because scammers will know your not a local. If your planing a trip for mb is NY listen to me
We were there today and a lot of the restaurants were shut down. The wooden boardwalk was a mess. The wood was rotting and some of the stores were closed also.
Sounds awesome, but I keep hearing nightmare stories about how long the wait is for restaurants due to the Labor shortage in MB, will it get better soon, I’d love to visit!

Go to the Wacatee Zoo if it's open......can't remember if you can pet the animals, but I do remember getting licked by a Scottish Ox or something to the like. It's a back country style zoo but it's fun. It's a small, inexpensive attraction.... but big things come in small packages👍.

As a large man yourself I think you should inform the viewer that some people might be too large to fit in the carts at the grand prix.

Honestly, we don't really have a really large public transport system. Busses are minimal here. Yes we have plenty of taxis, uber & Lyft though!
Uber was NUTS! My bf and I spent 500 in 3 days on ubers because MB is huge and we wanted to go to different places.

There are various dog parks around the area, there are also several walking/hiking trails where dogs would really enjoy as well.
