This can actually be explained. Space trash is probably the biggest threat to our satellites and taking the big pieces out of the orbit can be a very good idea. Also, some asteroids contain precious materials that can be used on earth or used on orbit for building stuff directly in space.

No, you can't stealthily take out military satellites without anyone knowing. Even if no telescope is watching the launch of a "metall ball" or something, you'd notice those satellites going offline too often than possible by random. Those objects that are large enough to pose a real danger would also be tracked by radar. What the Chinese have actually practiced is that they grappled one satellite with another and pushed the former into a graveyard orbit.

For hegemonic purpose only. If God is not blind or does not exist, then the US do not have to worry.
"When the US wants to go to war with her competitors, she will invent a reason."
The saddest thing is that the sheeples in the US is subjected to a conscienceless media that would prep them up for wars which they repeated live to pay for it, but to the benefit of those who profit from wars. If only the sheeples are not too bogged down by homelessness, poverty, health pain, hopelessness, suicidal thoughts, etc., they would rise up to end the destructive path that they are locked in, starting with Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, ....................... (in fact US has been at wars with someone incessantly since WWII, big and small wars, without a break of more than 3 years. It is as though she is addicted to wars, without which she feels mentally and physically sufferings from withdrawal symptoms.

I would imagine Bill Nelson has a little bit more information than you do about Chinese intentions in space in regards to their space station and the behind the scenes information about the inner workings of the Chinese space agency. It's kinda delusional to think you have an inside track on the intentions of a foreign government as much as Nelson has. You come off as arrogant when you project that you know more than he does, unless the information you know about the geopolitical situation is better than NASA, just stop.

China could build a moon base - if it expends a ridiculous amount of money it can barely afford given its current economy. But even if they claimed the moon or part of it as their territory, they'd be toast once they try to defend it. Anything on the moon is a sitting duck, all space equipment is extremely fragile (or even much much more expensive), and the US has a lot more launch capacity.
