The artwork is beautiful, but I have to be honest and say that the majors are basically indistinguishable from each other. If they weren't labeled I couldn't even venture a guess as to what the card is trying to represent. I would need to see a guidebook to finally "get it" in terms of what they're going for here, because unfortunately I don't. The earth suit is stunning, and I feel that if I sit with the cards and do some path walking that they might reveal themselves to me, and maybe some of the other minor arcana cards, but overall this deck looks like it would require a tremendous amount of focused meditation just to learn the language it's trying to speak. I'd love to hear from others who are willing to dive in and do the work and learn what they find!
I too think it is stunning to look at but I feel like it isn't a deck people will actually work with. This will be one of those FOMO decks that everyone gets because of the hype and feel like they should want it. But I am betting a year after they have been purchased they will be all over the FB Tarot pages for sale because it just isn't a "usable" deck.
While these have beautiful scenes, they don’t give me a vibe to be able to read with them. They almost seem to be repetitive and I wouldn’t know what they were without the name on them. Makes me sad as I LOVE the look of the boxes.
I love decks like this- if you have your own interpretation of the cards, or use tarot with Oracle, or use several books that combine different systems (especially psychology, like Tarot for Change, etc.) these cards are perfect- a beautiful blank slate that can be interpreted and read in multiple ways depending on the Oracle or book or system you use with them. More and more of my decks are coming from this place where they can be read in multiple ways.
So pretty but I feel like the missing hints to classic Tarot makes it just that: pretty cards but not something to really read with. Maybe Im just not smart enough but as pretty as it is I dont feel it speaking to me. I would like end up reading the titles and go from that without really connecting to the scenes in the deck and then feel like I let myself (and the deck) down somehow.
I personally ✨LOVE✨ not only the aesthetics of this deck but how ✨f r e e✨ I am to interpret the meanings of the cards in a way that doesn’t feel boxed in by the traditional RWS meanings. I love classic RWS don’t get me wrong, but sometimes I like getting to stray off the beaten path and see where my intuition goes. Plus I do find hints of the meanings just in new ways I haven’t gotten to explore before. Absolutely in love with both, but find the colors in the day much easier to distinguish while the night can be like you said, almost too soothing. Will have to keep an eye out for this one! 🥰💙🦋✨
Oh how interesting! Thanks for posting Lisa 💜 I haven't worked with landscape decks before. I totally agree the night time version is more calming yet a bit harder to distinguish between the cards at a quick glance in the spread. I hope they include a guidebook and further explain the flower vs herb choices as that's really fun and a unique addition to a landscape deck
Beautiful images and colours but WAY too repetitive for me. I was getting so bored with mountain scenes was relieved when the trees showed up. Not a deck i would spend money on though.
The cards look really beautiful, but they look very similar to each other - especially the Majors. Like I don't need to see someone upside down on Hanged man but it should express somehow the meaning of the card (and I'd expect from the guidebook the explanation if it's something that differs from traditional RWS (because that's what I learned on as many of us right?)) but if they look so similar it just feels a bit... random. (I watched just the walkthrough I don't know if you were talking about the guidebook and how does it look or what) But it really looks beautiful. Though I probably couldn't decide between one or another. Some of them look better in day deck, some of them in night one :D
The cards look beautiful, and I love me a good rose petal finish. But the cards are just too samey. They ate hard to tell apart, and all kind of look the same.
Nooo not more tempting decks! Of the two, the Night deck speaks more to me, but blues and purples have always been some of my favorite colors. I don't know if I would use this deck as a tarot deck though. They do have a guide book, though, so maybe there's more to find there. I'm also curious how the two decks are supposed to work together. They mention the "Balance of Rosewood" on the KS when mentioning getting both decks.
Heheh, very beautiful... but I always wish landscape decks would be oriented as landscape :D I know you explained it to me before, and I totally agree with you... but I'd still LOVE a landscape deck at some point if I find the right one for me. Heartscape Tarot actually just had a second edition... but sold out before I could get one! Still, lovely lovely pair of decks and wonderful vid as always!
Very pretty artistically and would be a great collection for anyone wanting to get cards of landscapes for art collection reasons but due to the major arcana it’s a miss for me. The majors have such a massive variety and themes that could have been looked into and painted as nature if they actually tried. Theres almost no difference between major and air. A field of lush flowers and fruit for the world, golden wheat filled hillsides for the sun, ghostly at night. Maybe even delving more into the flower/herb thing they talk about on the kickstarter preview but it means nothing so far from first looks. There is so much that could have been done but wasn’t. The minor arcana is nicer because you can tell between the suites much more. I definitely prefer their divine masculine deck over this which is truely stunning and beautifully painted with a lot of thought put into it. Weve seen tarot decks do what they are trying much better. However that said id be interested to read guide book pages and how they talk about the major arcana especially considering theres nothing there in the image for many of the cards archetypes and meanings. Hoping the guidebook is like one of those books where you read it and it blows you away with a great new perspective or story. It has that kind of emptiness that a fandom deck could have if not properly done that you keep because you like the fandom and you ignore the actual imagery that doesn’t line up with the meanings or make any sense. I think this could also pair well as a “pip deck” you can imagine yourself in with another deck beside it to help guide themes forward especially with major arcana removed. The box and backings are so beautiful. Best of luck to them! Theres people who can easily slot this deck into their meditation practice ❤
Initially I was very excited because I am obsessed with decks that feature trees. However, there seems to be no actual system here, and there is no indication on the page of HOW the artwork is created, which makes me wonder about AI. They are gorgeous, and I am a little tempted, but I think I might have to give it a pass.
I thought about them being AI at first too, but because there is a night and day version, it would be very difficult for an AI program to create two of the same scene and have new elements added as well as colors. Most AI can’t replicate the same image twice.
I don’t really know why exactly but I totally see it as very much as a divine masculine deck. Reminds me of the urge of go camping, light a fire, go fish. Maybe it’s because a lot of guys I know and myself are into these things. Anyhoo, thank you for ruining my bank account and enrich my deck collection. 😂
My unicorn deck is Majestic Earth, and I feel like this art work has some of that majestic, expansive, awe-inspiring emotion, but with an element of otherworldliness. It may be challenging to read but I’m willing to give it a go because of the absolutely stunning illustrations. I just don’t know which I’d prefer!! I really hope there’s a well-written guidebook with this deck! Thanks for showing us!
I’m so sad! Everything speaks to my soul-the boxes, backs, colors, landscapey vibe-EXCEPT the actual cards! I’m getting a complete blank from them. 😢 Do we know if the art is AI generated? I’ve noticed decks with AI art tend to make me feel like something is lacking. I do think they’re beautiful and wish the creators success. These just aren’t for me.
I don’t get it. I don’t see any divination system. Lisa, you did your best to bring out some type of logic into this deck but I don’t see it. This looks like a deck by those photographers who try to force their photos to be a tarot deck but this is the worst I’ve ever seen because none of it makes sense.
I think sometimes there are just to many tarot decks and if we were pushed to just use one - it would be made to make sense and our intuition will force us to listen
@@Tarotjackpot There are people who divine with tea leaves and bones so people can definitely use their intuition with anything. The tarot, however, is a developed system. This deck is like someone wrote a book in their own made up language and then claimed it was written in English.

WOW! What a nice idea with the Day and Night vesions! Love it!
Beyond beautiful, and the elemental energy is giving me the shivers - in the best way.

This is beautiful! And it ships from the EU! Very tempted. Thanks for the walkthrough!

Absolutely gorgeous as an artistic project .. I particularly love the night time one...but not for me . Thanks so much for showing us these decks
Yes is beautiful and quality production is excellent but at least I wish they used some pip in the images.
Beautiful, but I'm not sure I could read with them.
They are gorgeous 💗

There is a Tarot Landscapes on Amazon,
I could see some of these stunning paintings on my wall but too repetitive to read with; don’t quite get it. Sad as they are def pretty

Thanks for the video, am considering this since I have nothing like it in my collection 🎉

Well said!
Muy complicado . 👎👎👎👎👎
