St. Simons Island Vacation 2012

Shots taken on my phone during our spring vacation at an incredibly timeless setting of an ocean cottage on St. Simons Island, Georgia. The name of the cottage is Seacrest and it's for sale. Built around 1890, when it was a guest house in the thirties, Margaret Mitchell, the author of "Gone with the Wind" spent a week here.

Thank you for putting this up on RUclips! I am the son of one of the former owners. The house sold a few months ago. My great grandfather bought this house in 1915, and it stayed in the family until 2013. I have been to this house every summer for the past 33 years. It is great to see the photos and video of the cottage, as I hate that we had to sell it. I am glad that you enjoyed your vacation there.
