Teraflex Jeep Jk Big Brake kit Test

We tested the TeraFlex Big brake kit on a 2015 Jeep Wranger JKU
Our Lifted 2015 6 speed Jk with 37 inch tires stopping distance was 124 feet from 55MPH.
We upgraded with the help from WOW Auto care to the Teraflex Big Brake kit. In this video we measured a 25% improvement over stock on our Jeep. It only took 94 feet to stop an improvement of 30 feet or the length of two JKU 's.
Every Jeep is different and will get different results.

Teraflex JK Rear big rotor kit with caliper brackets 13.5 slotted rotors It uses your factory caliper and pads ( we upgraded to EBC ExtraDudy pads ED91799)

Keep in mind this was for our 2015 JKU some older JK's 2007-2011 might need to upgrade to the newer master cylinder Teraflex 4303450
The overall feel after the pads were seated was a noticeable bite as soon as you start to press. The big difference in a full panic stop with the stock brakes the last 20 feet it felt like you loose bite and some of that is ABS. The Teraflex reduced that to less then 5-10 feet right at the end. They have the same soft pedal feel as stock.
