PRODUCT SOURCE DISCLOSURE
The blaster featured in this video was sent to me by Dart Zone, free of charge. I did not buy this review unit with my own money.

The fact that this is 30 dollars, the same price as a lot of crappy nerf primaries, I think that this is probably one of the best value blasters
I agree. This and the alpha 72, tho the Vulcanators rof is way better. For $30!?! I just paid $34 for a motoblitz and for the "best" blaster nerf has released in forever im very underwhelmed. It doesnt even avg 70fps. Im gluing the magwells on and running 2 50s which will blow away anyone w a motoblitz.
Yes.
@@skeemeastwood9075 Oh no, a blaster doesn't shoot 150fps?
the reason why Nerf is so overpriced is because of the Nerf name
I found this 200 FPS shotgun that Coop reviewed and I immediately wanted one
1:52 The sheer *confidence* of that flick-to-catch.
Confidence and probably a whooole lot of takes
i did not notice that at all
Fr
I think this would be great for a 430 dart challenge seeing as you can have one interrupted stream of darts even while reloading
Interesting
First thing I thought when he showed the drum mag could work. Hope he does it.
Yes!
That would be less about the time and more about the coordination of switching mags at the right time. Would love to watch that.
Only issue I see is that it prioritizes the right magazine so you'd have to count the rounds being fired out of the left and slap the right mag in just as it shoots the last dart.
Never thought we would see a Burton Light Machine Rifle in dart-throwing form.
BF1 🥶
What about the Paradigm Shift?
wow thats very accurate
The blaster reminded me of a BL2 bandit smg
This really really reminds me of the Burton LMR from Battlefield 1. For anyone who hasn't played it, its a full auto rifle from the first world war with 2 magazines sticking up, just like this blaster. Personally I'd love this blaster simply because it would feel like I'm using one of my favorite weapons from one of my favorite shooters. (I feel like because battlefield 1 has so many weapons with weird magazine placements, it doesn't really bother me much cause I can just pretend I'm using a weapon from ww1 like the MP-18 when I use the evader/mediator or the Burton LMR or the Madsen MG when I use this blaster or any other blaster with a vertical mag on the top)
Exact reason I love my Rival Kronos. Loved the Desert Eagle in video games, and my modded Kronos has the exact same feel.
Ah yes, it's very similar to Burton LMR, I guess BF5 has a gun like it too.
Same
With modifications (epoxy or jb weld) you could take some serious capacity in each side and become heavy support fire role with it. get 2 of those 50 dart drums and that's 100 rounds at your disposal. And the more mags you have in the heavy gunner position you can fire the main mag and still be able to let rip the secondary while swapping drums
I am heavy weapons guy 😂
Orrr now hear me out one big drum in the right and a standard 10 or 12 in the left so that when ur loading cumbersome drums in you can still unload on em with the left. Who needs a sidearm anyway
I think the highest possible capacity is 85, since two 50 round drums are too big to fit in the mag wells at the same time. A 50rd drum on the right and a 35rd drum on the left would probably work, though.
I had the same idea: mod on a bipod, grab a buddy, and you got yourself a full on machine gun team!
@@PhantomRaptor1 Two 50rnd Drums fit just fine ^^
Everyone: Say the line Coop!
Coop: ... there's no N-Strike barrel lug
Everyone: YAAAY!!!
Another role this blaster could be good for in the heavy gunner. If you glue the magwells in place and ran drums, you could probably reload each empty mag before the other runs out, essentially giving you the ability to fire non-stop until either you need to move, or you run out of ammo.
he mentions the concept
Target has these on sale FOR ONLY $17 in my area right now. Made this a much better deal than the Motoblitz for $26 on sale rn. Ended up buying both but absolutely recommend the Vulcanator
someone at Dart Zone looked at the Burton LMR from Battlefield 1 and said "we can do it"
I think even DZ needs a creative/quirky, breather blaster here and there - They've been busy changing the landscape of flinging foam.
If they don't make something weird every once in a while, it's not Dart Zone.
I feel like dart zone gimmicks still aren’t complete gimmicks; they still have some sort of use going for them. Nerf gimmicks are literally just gimmicks for kids, but imo, dart zone gimmicks feel more like weird and quirky innovations, similar to the rest of Pontiac’s lineup vs the Aztec (for those who get the reference)
@@mrsoisauce9017 now I want dart zone to develop a double action pocket pistol, like the recently released 'the trigger'.
Even if the performance won't be great, double action is always great for emergency rapid firing or just flinking.
Dartzone looked at the rhino fire and thought: yea we can do this
And they did it waay better
I got one and I love it!!! Never thought an Burton LMR would be modeled for nerf
That's exactly how the rhinofire should have been.
True
fr
The Rhino-Fire is still the superior Platform :P Much higher Rof....if modified
I bought this for my kids and it bogs down pretty good in full auto.
And a lot less cheaper
i always have the impression that rapidstrike got a special place in coop's heart
The Vulcantor is definitely my favorite stock fully-automatic blaster right now. I'm the kind of guy that likes moderately goofy blasters and this scratched my itch for another Nerf oddity and better yet, it has pretty good performance. If anyone's played Battlefield 1 or watch Forgotten Weapons, the Vulcantor is very similar visually to the 1917 Burton Light Machine Rifle. There's no way that Dart Zone _didn't_ model the Vulcantor after it.
This gun reminds me of the 1917 Burton Light Machine Rifle (also featured in BF1 as the “Burton LMR”) which has a very similar design
True
Dart Zone: We made something weird.
Me: Tell me more.
The fact that with some super glue this becomes a 30 dollar LMG compared to something like the pathfinder for the exact same price or the motoblitz for even more is what makes this a big recommend for me.
the catches and nubs don't seem to have a 100% alignment. i found a small film of fun-tac worked to strengthen it up nice. maybe museum wax or something like it would work better. i don't have the big drums to check weight but held my 22s well. and since this still allows for the breakaway..my kids cant mess it up as gluing it would
This blaster is what the Doomlands Double Dealer wished it could be
I hope Dart Zone makes a sort of 2.0 version of the Spectrum that has an N-strike stock attachment point and a single-finger rev switch and maybe a redesigned mag release
I honestly really like the big rev switch
@@dylancooper4993 do you find it comfy?
@@Frydee123 yeah, tho granted I haven’t used it for extended gameplay
@@dylancooper4993 Nice. I haven't held a Spectrum in my hands yet, But I still think the single finger rev switch would fit me better, But that's just my opinion
@@Frydee123 I’d say try it out if you can. I enjoy it a lot, but I think it comes down to personal preference
It's always a good day when Coop uploads.
your channel is infinitely helpful for a new dad who hasn't bought anything like this in eons. my girls are going to be slaying zambies in style this Halloween.
It reminds me of the Burton LMR :D
Same, just needs the bayonet
@@neonman54 Yup
This gun is 100% modeled off of it
So what I'm thinking is, Dart Zone saw that one machine pistol from Deathloop with the two magazines where you can reload one while the other's firing, and went "We could do that."
Sweet.
Hey! Battlefield 1 also has that kind of gun!
@@sigizmund_ll_augustus5999 yeah it does I think it is called The Burton lmg
Seeing this reminded me of playing Battlefield 1 and using the burton LMR. Cool gun in real life and cool blaster
I love that he hasn't changed the intro for 11 years. It gives me a satisfying feeling whenever I hear it.
Seems to work infinitely better than the Doomlands double dealer, both in concept and execution
Dart zone blaster with an elite paintjob, wombo combo!
This gun would be great with a partner loading for you. If you dripped this thing out with internals and ammo capacity it would be the best lmg
I think in casual circles the gimmick is more powerful. You can duel wield two 50 round drums and run around spewing 100 rounds of foam
But the drums would be so big you couldn't see what you are aiming at. Lol
@@xXCigarXx Spray n Pray baby.
@@xXCigarXx rotate blaster upside down, hold like mini gun.
Super cool blaster! Full auto, but it seems easy enough to use it semi auto if you really want to. Couple of things to note from my (fairly beginner) opinion
1. Im not fully sure how it would be implemented, but having a way to flip the prioity from right magazine to left would be a nice little touch for left handed people but as is its still great
2. Implementing a sort of selector switch to fire both magazines at once would be an awesome feature. Effectively a full auto shotgun and could have some use in certain game types.
Overall though, sick looking blaster. Definitely might pick it up at some point
Check it's price
@@zero-ej6rt 30 dollars is quite cheap, ESPECIALLY compared to nerf. If I recall, 2 rival knock outs equal this thing in price, and those are rival jolts
@@samrichey7170 Knockouts are on sale at my Walmart for 10$
Just picked one up today for 30 dollers it amazes me on how good it is todaley beets the Moro blitz all the way the fire power is very accurate and sharp and no jams or malfunctioning you got that right this is a must have blaster
Been a long time fan of the channel just wanted to say keep up the great work 🙂
Love these new dart zone blasters dude, more Full auto!
Thanks for always keeping us updated 👍
Good job coop been watching your stuff forever man amazing job amazing content
Easy fix for the magwell problem, I believe american foam covered this, you can get a 3d printed harness that goes around both magwells and holds them in place against the top of the blaster which makes it much easier to shoot.
We really haven't seen everything after all this time. This is _innovation that excites._
I used to watch you 4 years ago. This brigs back memories 😃
That intro hasn't changed one bit since i was little watching this channel, i specifically remember the world "tacti-cool" from the years back. really takes me back
I hope everything is ok Coop, You haven't posted in a fair amount of time if it's just burn out take your time, if it's something else, I hope it gets better soon.
Man this blaster is so cool!
FRAAAAAAANNNNNNNNKKKKKKKK my dude! Hope you’re well! Thanks for another great video!
Something new, fresh, and exciting!
The mag wells being removable is probably to help with bumping corners too. It would stink to shatter a mag well on a door frame
To me, the problem with the two mags is that I was unable to recognize when it switched from one mag to the other - even with clear mags it was so-so as quite a large part of the mag is in the blaster.
I guess to fill the last 2 or 3 rounds of a mag (the first ones which go in) with different color darts.
Also, it would be better if it prioritized the left mag so the right one (the one most of people - right-handers) has better access to. Then I would stick a 6-rounder into the right as a backup for reloads and happily used the left one primarily with regular mags.
Or you could count your shots
Heyo bro your looking better then ever man keep up the hard work
COOP!! LESS GO!!
Would love to see one of these modded to shoot half length darts, It would be a great combo of accuracy and fire rate.
I haven’t kept up with this guy and he’s still posting. And I come back to this
Feel better, I send all the support!
I love these blasters with unconventional layout. Really addicting!!
I was bored, then got a yt notification. I saw it and my reaction was COOP UPLOADED A NEW VIDEO!!
Thank you friend if I had not seen your video I would not have been able to solve my problem thanks for contributing your video
Holy moly been a while since i watched, but stil making vids i see!
It would be a great blaster for sitting still and being prone. You could run like a heavy gunner loadout. Drum mags and not moving would help that mag problem
Hello, and thanks very much, Frank, for another very informative review. I've recently purchased a Vulcanator and have ordered a 3D printed magazine brace for it. This is sold by Blaster Time - EU, based in The Netherlands. They supplied the Vulcanator and offer an extremely efficient and prompt service. After I've received the brace I'll test it with some of the bigger Nerf magazines and advise whether it significantly reduces the risk of the magazines being inadvertently being dislodged from the blaster.
Me again folks. Have now tested the magazine brace for the Vulcanator and it works very well. It certainly prevents magazines from inadvertently being dislodged.
Huh, I was expecting it to stagger fire from both magazines to get a much higher rate of fire, but this approach is more war practical. Imagine if you have a select fire switch that could let you switch between those 2 options though.
Cool use of clear mags to illustrate its right side bias.
I love this blaster. I picked it up
Today because of your video. Now, I’m just collecting blasters for the fun of it lol
ok
People have already started making 3D printed mag well braces. Most of the ones I’ve seen require no modification to the blaster, and seem to attach to the tactical rail on top, and have either a built in rail riser, or leave a gap to fit the scope in the middle of it.
If this was in an over-under configuration, I think that would make the blaster more streamlined. Still cool
It might be a while before I do, but I want to get one of these, flip the whole mag assembly around so the mags are sticking down out of the blaster (instead of up), upgrade the internals (mostly rate of fire, but muzzle velo would be cool too), throw some drums in it and just have the nerf equivalent of an M60 or M249
Having Coop hold it like that at 7:00 makes me think this blaster could really use a vertical forward grip right below the mag wells.
Hey coop I am so sorry about your eye I hope you recover soon you’re my favorite RUclipsr❤ I will see you in a few days coop forever 😢
Been watching this dude for years, to this day I wonder where this dude stores all the blasters
I like the concept of the new blaster. Will probably pick one up. Do you plan on doing another dart comparison video soon. I am curious to see how the waffle head darts, chili darts, ember darts, bamboo darts and the new darts Zuru X-shot are using with the “skins” line of blasters stack up against each other. Dunno if the new x-shot darts have a nickname yet.
Coop, I would love a updated blaster etc collection!!
If you just want to have the left mag as a backup, you can just put a 6 round mag there to decrease width
Nice video as always coop, I have question, can you review the shelingtion wrenfeild next please
Coop, could you do a 430 dart challenge with the vulcanator? It'll be cool to see how fast the time would be when you could reload one mag as the other one is firing
The grey grip on the front is a separate piece held on by 2 screws and bars. So 3D printing different grips and rails for it will be easy.
This design resembles design of SMG magazines from Bandit SMGs from Borderlands :D Two magazines protruding in angle from the body of the SMG at an angle :3 I always liked those :3 (Despite Bandit/Scav SMGs being mostly unusable :( )
Hey coop, I hope you're staying safe. Just saw some flooding footage from Naples. Wanted to check and make sure you're okay.
This is just another one of those dart zone "fun blasters" like the savage spin , and the tomahawk 60. Dart zone release a different one every year and love them all. I haven't picked up mine yet but I can already tell that this if really fun.
I love to watch these videos omg... Please review more of those "shell ejecting" blasters.. I got one from AWM or something and shoots hard and it's quite good besides it's just 4 rounds...
There are these chinese stores with this blasters and looks amazing.
Looking good coop
Hey coop I reasently bot the rival round house and it jammed but if you turn the clear part it will unlock
Perhaps the easiest fix would be to trim the bottom hook tab and epoxy a larger hook lip to the top tabs, making the removal action bottom-up instead top-down; you keep the ability to disassemble, but eliminate the weight problem with drums and other heavier mags since it's no longer fighting gravity?
I love the fact that he casually shows us that the stock is 1 Span long.
look like some thing in WW1
I was right! its the Burton LMG 🇬🇧
I think someone has already 3d printed a brace that goes over the top of the blaster that holds the mag wells on. Very cool. 😁🔫
I honestly thought that this blaster would be very versatile. You have the option to run around and get tags and be as mobile as you would with a stryfe with stock and barrel. Or you could be a "light support" player and defend objectives with it, just dumping darts in a lane and hold your opponents back until your group respawns or catches up.
As for gluing the magwell on, I wont be doing it to mine because I wouldnt be able to clear any jams on the fly.
Yoooo Coop you should totally get a copy of this that you can modify, glue it, and do one of those several-hundred-dart challenges with giant drums. Since you can reload while firing this has to be super quick right?
This blaster remind me one of the guns used in Battlefield 1 as support class
nice to see you back coop772
I like this blaster!
Hopefully you feel better
With some modifications, I can see this as a sort of stationary LMG. If you’re playing something like KotH, this would be great if you kept the mag wells stable, and had someone helping you with loading the gun.
2:00 coop- doesn't fire like a shotgun
dz- ohhhh a shot gun you say, hold my beer
1 month later
coop - its a shotgun now with 3 mags
To keep the mag wells on I used some hockey tape too keep them on. It has been a lot better but the tape looks kinda weird
This is the meta HvZ blaster with the duel magwell design and good price. I wonder if you just run a rubber band around both magwells if that resolves the easy fall off issue without making a permanent change to the blaster.
Do a combo video on the hammer shot
That reminds me of the borderlands 2 bandit smg w/ the dual mags
I am a great fan of you and watch your al videos
Great blaster with amazing potential. Glue the mag wells in place, add a foregrip and then replace the pistol grip so it can be used upside-down. Welcome to the Dart Zone 100-dart Juggernaut 😎. I'm not sold on the looks though
Coop772 - is this legit?
Coop,if you're done from the surgery, please do a 3rd annual(or every once in a while) nerf competition
Hope you survive the surgery...
@@Kralich Coop made a post about it in his Community tab. That’s how most of us found out about it.
He said his house isn't good enough for filming videos in over than reviews
Why? Why!?! Why did they stop at 2 mags?! 4 mags in an X layout, that would be so ridiculously awesome.
Ergonomics
