Need to work on that 60 foot a little but all runs are consistent at least! Removing the wickers might gain you a little on the top end but we all know it's about finding time before the 1/8th. Keep on chasing!
Is it possible the traction control isn't fully disabled? Sounds like it wants to go and the car drops power at the launch. Either way... great video, love the content 👍
@jesse_iwuji I want to start off by saying thanks for replying to my comment. I am not trying to be disrespectful but how did the skinnies and the exhaust help? I am just curious. Still on the wait list for my Z06 but it seems like the stingray is the better buy.
You can hear how the stock ecu is holding the power back throughout that whole 60'. Seems as though maybe since you have sticky drag pack it sees more torque and its limiting the power. Man once they unlock the ecu and potentiall the tcm to remove some of that torque management and allow the car to go 100% throttle and power at the hit it will really go fast! My ZL1 would never open up fully unitl after 1st gear to limit torque, it wasnt until i adjusted the torque manamgement from the tcm that it let me go WOT from the Hit!
Hi! I have a c8 Z06 with carbon ceramic brakes. I want to put drag radials on so I can get some traction. Will regular C8 rear wheels fit on a Z06 with carbon ceramic brakes? I saw you had aftermarket wheels on but are they the same offset as C8 wheels?
Why do dragsters, funny cars and professional drag cars use straight axles. To guarantee that the rear tires are perfectly flat on the surface strip and using the best tire to guarantee that. @@jesse_iwuji
@@jesse_iwuji Because I think you are dead hooking & bogging! Same reasons why we run looser converters or soft lock slipper clutch setups! I know that doesn't apply to your D.C. trans. Just seems like there should be up to 10% slip allowed
@@jesse_iwujimight want to try manual launch mode for the burnout, you pull back both paddles then release one and then pull it again so both are pulled again and it should give you more reserve torque
I have a 2024 Z06 0:03 that will be racing very soon and I was wondering what size and brand drag radio are you using? I previously dragged my 2019 C7 Z06 but had problems with the traction control/ limp mode because of the tires diameters. Can you shed any light on the situation. Thank you.
The Z06 comes from the factory with (Castor/Camber) track setting. Reset the rear tires where you have 100% tire traction for drag racing.
Ok I will try that

What were the weather conditions compared to your other trips to the track? Is the car spinning or dead hooking?
The car was hooked in, whats holding me back is the ECU is doing some sort of weird torque management to keep the car from launching too hard
C’mon Jesse!!!🎉 🎉😮
Didnt you get a 10.4 10 months ago? Respectfully it looks like those skinnies and exhaust didn't do much.
They did help, but the cars ECU is holding back power and torque management

You are 100% correct!!!
Maybe some foreign country will unlock the Bosch unit like the A90 Supra

Maybe the height difference in the front skinny’s, not enough air in them for the weight transfer. Also maybe a second burn out for more heat

No they will not, too small for your CCB's
@@jesse_iwuji Thanks for the reply! Do you have a link or the specs to the ones you bought? I would want to get the same ones but in black....
Must be the skinny tires!! 🙂
🙌🏾
Easy fix. Even tho our tires are good quality, u shud try drag radials at least. Never mind.. lol. I see u have some.
Jesse, u got the money. Twin turbo it. And the down side is u have over 2k views and 116 likes. Big haters out there. SMH
hahaha I love it being NA, no turbos
Can I ride with you!?

345 would probably work better for the rear
Yes
I thought that the C8 Z06 was better in track mode instead of sport.
No sir, doesn't have to
Its why rear straight Axles were better back in the day...
That's not the reason though

go up to at least 28# on the rears
I know that will help miles per hour, but how will that help out with 60 foot?

Huh
your not doing a proper burnout, and the track probably hasn't been prepped at all.
Since you own a C8 z06, explain how to do a burnout. I'll wait lol
