Nice video Shaun. Great to see so many examples of MAN / Crafter conversion. We couldn't make it to the show this time, but are currently having a MAN converted by Dirty Weekender and because of the brilliant bespoke way they build, we can still tweak bits as we go along. The bigger MAN / Crafter / Sprinter definitely seems the way a lot of converters are now going. Deb and Dave T
I’m a big fan of the Ford to drive the after sales however can be quite shocking. I have the Ford Nugget Plus and love the Westfalia conversion. It will be interesting to see the Ford/VW fusion. I too have noticed that a lot of conversions are based on Ford Monsanto / Trekker / Wildax plus many more. It will be interesting to see if it’s due to a lack of VW base vehicles or a general switch. Time will tell.
Unfortunately yes but the new connect is a caddy I think Vw got the bum deal on that agreement just about to lose its loyal transporter customer base what a shame so yeah Vw has really messed up there as the newest transits aren’t good at all
Was at the show a few days back, Hillside had some big discounts on some of those vans. Do they latest Transits still have that dreadful engine that trashes itself after a few years? Those MAN base vehicles seem the most attractive shape at the moment, not sure what they have done to the front of the Ducato's!
Hi Shaun, (forgive me if I have spelt your name wrong) thanks for doing the reviews of the vans, its great to get a different perspective on the bigger vans. My favourite is definitely the Venture S but then again its uber money! I do think they have pinched some of your designs in your VW... Cheers Andy & Lyn.
Hi Shaun I was up at the NEC yesterday ,the project freedom was my star of the show ,I was talking to Grace the co owner of the company ,super impressive of what they have accomplished in only 4 years since settling up the company. Also I couldn't believe just how much van you can now get if you move away from the smaller panel van conversions and step into a motor home . 65 to 80 k now gets you so much for your money 💰. You can quite easily get a 65 k van then spend 15 k on a daily driver or something that you could tow on a A frame behind your motor home. So many options available now .

Them blinds that fade away!❤
Like witchcraft!
We went to the show as thinking about these... insane prices!
Huge fan of vanworx! Nice to see them going back to basics. Kaktus are on it as always 🔥
Great videos
Yeah they both produce incredible vans 👌
Kaktus continues to impress
They sure do! 👌
A 4x4 ‘work’ sprinter with a high roof and decent spec cabin as a white panel van is north of £90k now in the UK…
Had a good look round there today,, personally think the green van was stunning love the unique bag style cupboards and the overall design
Totally agree!
I can’t believe how expensive the van conversions are compared to a coach built one

Great couple of videos.
Thank you very much
Mmm not sure I want a portable toilet stored next to food and cooking
Noticed on the kaktus. Surprisingly they used that cheaper base vehicle
Just the cheap head unit. Instead of the usual big screen type
Should have put a rock n roll we’re the rear travel seat is then could sleep four or a drop down front double,
I believe the new transporter is based on the new transit.

Yeah I agree, the owners of Project Freedom are lovely and very talented van builders
15:15 what was that van? Looked nice
It was by a company called Mega Mobil. Really cool van 👌
@@ABusAndBeyond Nice one, thanks!
Anyone spending 60k to 100k on a converted work van must be off their tits. Sorry, don’t shoot the messenger.
