Question 1: 21 year old college student wants to know if he should pursue something with his good friend's ex (a "smokeshow" in his words). His good friend may also be in his same industry later on and he doesn't want to burn the professional bridge.
Question 2: Guy is going through a ton of family adversity and went through a terrible breakup. He dropped out of law school because of family and a terrible relationship.
