    A nice S & D Truck , now no longer manufactured , I can't imagine a Mercedes bin lorry getting down those allyways .

    Why did bottles not get put in rest of the lorry ??

      They may of been corona bottles , 10p return back then

      You could take the bottles back to the shop where you bought them from and they gave you 10p. Can remember many a time when I was a kid getting sent to our corner shop with a bag of bottles.

    No recycling back in them days much handier niw bins have wheels no steps any more health and safty plays a big part in our mordern day lifes

    Cant get alot of weight on there 4 legger wheres the 26 tonner or 32 tonner ipswich Borough council have mostly 32 tonners 2 and a half loads on black bin week
