FANTASTIC OVERVIEW!! Thank you Rachel!! For me Grocery Outlet is where I ALWAYS START,... when I want to try different foods, at a much better pricing!! Also I do a LOT of fishing, so your map 'travelog' was SO WONDERFUL, as well!!
Nampa is a very drippy red Republican town as well as all towns outside of Boise/Ada County other than Twin Falls. Nampa is a "hick" town with a bit of Latinos as well. People still duck hunt on lake lowell and deer hunt in the fields. I live in Nampa and we like keeping it Red. Do not be mistaken that the rest of Idaho is like the Boise area. We do not have the traffic problems that ADA county has, it takes you 30 minutes to get 4 city blocks in Boise, Meridian, Eagle etc. I am an Army Veteran and vey many of my neighbors in Nampa are as well. I would steer away from Caldwell, the Indian Creek (downtown) looks good but the rest of the town is garbage and it is where all of the Latino gangs live. Hope this helps.
Just remember if you come here clean up after yourself! You take it in you take it out!!! We’ve had newbies destroying our campgrounds. Which in turn is causing fees! We’ve never had to deal with this ! When in Rome! Stop trying to make Idaho where you left! You left for a reason! I don’t want my home like your past !
You will fit right in! If there are two things you will never be deprived of in the Treasure Valley and they are Dutch Bros and Credit Unions...why are there credit unions on every corner in Idaho???
@@londastreeter7269 I do too! But, one on every corner? We desperately need a ton of service providing businesses, but nope...new ICCU for the win each time a new building goes up, lol
Consider LA first... Idaho's not where you move to for "convenience", if you're just in a big hurry or might actually need a job that can $upport an adult life (stuff like car payments, housing, insurance, taxes, food, etc.) 😁
@@adbthreetwenty the locals that can afford to stay have generally inherited their family's homes from 40 years ago or it's a bunch of retirees that sold there places in other states and moved here living off the proceeds of the sale (until property taxes will force them out too)...
That’s correct. There is no Costco in Eagle. I explain the location in the video and try my best to articulate where you’d be shopping if you live in certain parts of Eagle and Meridian. Across the street is technically Eagle.
I value time. In this life we live less than a million hours. What is most important to me is saving my time to be with the people I love and am responsible for raising. So yes, less time driving to accomplish tasks = more quality time with my children and pouring into my husband, parents, community. I've done the 'live away from all the hustle and bustle," thinking it would bring my family closer together and it in fact reduced our quality time. To each his own. I'm sharing what works for us when we are intentional about living out our personal values and goals.
Thank you for your video. Very informative 👍

You've done your homework. Thank you. I haven't driven those neighbohoods yet. I will now.....
I’m selling everything and moving soon! I’m putting my house on the market this month. I can’t wait to meet you guys in person! Thanks for the video!
We are looking forward to meeting you in person too! It’s fun to be part of your adventure, excited for you!
Moving from Texas. How is it right below Chinden instead of just north?
It’s great! Lots of great communities like Paramount, Bridge tower, Bainbridge, etc!
Great guidance and thorough video. What is your thought on Nampa? I'm from CA and thinking of moving to Idaho

Best HOAs with pools?🩵
Tons of options!
I’m originally from Grants Pass so I’m a huge Dutch Bros fan.

Agree 100%. No real jobs here. It’s very boring city here too. Inversions are brutal if you have allergies or asthma
How do all the people that currently live there afford their house, car, insurance, taxes, etc...?

Thanks! And are property taxes high compared to other places?
The Costco you are showing is actually Meridian not Eagle.

Boise has always been “woke”. Don’t come here and try to change us
