  • This is a version of the Universal Nut Sheller that my oldest son made a couple years ago.
We've used it for peanuts with very good results.
A sheller like this is enables those in developing nations to increase the speed of their food preparations... works well for us too!

Absolutely perfect. ...the mechanism, the system the size.
To improve quality of working it's best make in wooden material. With adjustable space for net outlets.

Is the peanut fall between outer cone and inner cone and was crushed? It look too big that peanut will easily come through without getting stuck

wouldn't you be better off slow feeding them so there isn't so much resistance when you turn it?

not trash, organic matter. "nuts" are not good for long term storage, but I think you mean peanuts not nuts? Like the sheller wonder if it can be adapted for grain?

Now put an American Black Walnut in there; I bet it'll break the machine before it cracks hahaha

The sheller looks good. but you said it would separate the shells & the nuts & they were mixed.
You could use 1/4 square wire/hardware cloth as a screen to help clean it up.
The nut without shins are skinless not blanched, blanch is to put in boiling water to semi cook state.

Very good, but u never show how to do it

First of all, a peanut sheller, is NOT a "universal" nut sheller. Second, if something is "blanched", that means it's been boiled. Unless that thing is doing something you didn't show us, it's the laws of physics prevent any peanuts coming out of it from being "blanched". Third, I'll bet you money, by the time you've hand picked at the nuts from that giant pile of mixed nuts and shells, I could have done it all by hand WAY faster.

I'm the guy who invented the first one for The Full Belly Project about 20 years ago. I'm glad someone picked up the idea and ran with it.
      Good work
