Wow! One of my favourite songs from my favourite album. People always say Butterfly is her most personal album, but you must not have listened to the lyrics of this song! She was clearly in pain when she wrote this as a young woman. Still such a beautiful song.

I wonder though why she seems so heavily medicated lately and why she obviously can’t and won’t perform live again anymore. Didn’t she have to re-record all these vocals for the show’s pre recorded tracks which is basically the whole show? These doctors better know what they’re doing!
i hope i get to experience this live it would heal me entirely i love this song too much and also so proud that she pulled through she seemed to get a bit emotional at the end but i hope she felt how loved she is and thankful she sang it for the moment 🩷

But these little tidbits on Tik tok and such shows she can still sing so what on earth is all this tweaking for. She sure is smart as F having us all wonder endlessly what is up with her voice. I think the meds she’s taking have messed up her coordination and focus but her voice is still there. I do hope one day we get to know what exactly happened after Glitter. Her voice was never the same after that.

Ya know... sometimes its not always about the vocals. We support her as a human because her lyrics have shown us WHO she really is. She is a biracial woman (not sure if you understand the struggle she went through). Its about empathy. We will go see her as much as she continues to put on shows because her music has saved lives. We appreciate her and ENJOY her presence. It is worth it.
