Studio version is STUNNING... Powerful British singer.... Comes from the school of hard knocks.. Pink is also great...They worked well together on 'Anywhere but here'.. He's a big man with a big voice.
I stood approximately 10'-15' from him at a show in some tiny basement bar/club in Toronto sone years ago... Still maybe the best live show I've ever seen! You would not BELIEVE how thick his British accent is!
Only subscribed last week n i'm impressed that you dont feel the need to dumb yourself down, you treat your viewers like they have a brain too . I really appreciate that thank you
I met this bloke in July 2017 at Sydney international airport after I’d flown 20 hours straight back from America. We were both pretty jet lagged at 7:30am that morning but was a very humble at receptive given the circumstances.
I recommend "Skin" as well as "Odetta" "Hard Came the Rain" and "Guilty" from his earlier work. Love "Hell Yeah" see the video for this one. "Alone" is one of his newer ones that I would recommend listening to.
@MrLBoyd Rory Charles Graham AKA Rag and bone man is 39 years old from the UK 🇬🇧 he stand 6’5” this gives him such great depth in his chest voice. I would love it if you would react to his song “Skin” or “Grace”. The later song shows great vocal range. Both are equally beautiful for different reasons. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Good old Rory, he made this song and others in my neighbours house (mutual friends) we would sit and listen to their raps lol the rum committee is where it all started
Apparent my steps sisters brother knew him or something and was in a group too. Might have been rum committee 🤔 Could be wrong I just remember my dad mentioning something about it
I gotta say... Your videos are pretty fun to watch. Most of the music you react to is not typically in my listening realm, but I really enjoy these! And... Sheesh! It looks like you have put in massive amounts of work putting out hundreds of videos in a pretty short amount of time. Hats off to you man!
Diana Ankudinova also has a cover of this song. Just like Derniere Danse she has sung it in quite a few of her concerts/performances and likes to play with it a bit in a way that reminds me of Chris Stapleton where every performance gives you a little treat you didn't hear the last time. It was also one of her songs on the singing competition "You are Super!".
As I said before - I do understand watching the concert versions, but it takes a lot away from the studio ones. Sometimes they even sound like a different song. Waiting for the studio versions though. Cheers my friend :D
So the algorithm sent me here, I love rag’n’bone man but I’ve never seen this reactor, his voice and accent are literally so soothing 😊👌❤️ amazing reaction and genuinely beautiful speaking voice, seriously he should do audiobooks! 👏
Thanks for reminding me how great this song is. I have the album, but over time, I pulled it out of my current list of downloaded music. Just took care of that. 👌
So now that you've checked out RagNBone Man, you have to check out Pink's other stuff. She's a blast because at a certain point many years into her evolving stage show, she got bored with the typical offerings and started singing while suspended from trapeze silks like circus performers, drawing on her adolescent gymnast background.
I would love to see you react to Dirty Loops “Next to You”. Fantastic tracks using elements of pop, rock, gospel and jazz👌. They are also outstanding musicians
I love your appreciation of the talent and originality in songs. Your reactions are more genuine than most. I really think you could appreciate a couple young artists up and coming, Billy Strings & Marcus King. I think you will appreciate what you find.
If he was black he'd be a top selling soul artist. He's white so many black people won't ever hear of him. Music needs to be about the performance not the label.
I always enjoy your reactions. Diana Ankudinova does a cover of this song. And as usual she did an Amazing job. You should react to it, if you haven't already. See you on the next reaction. ❤
Love Rag N Bone Man He has so much soul ❤️ Thanks for your great reaction videos keep up all your great work ❤️ Love you please listen to the original video it's great. You can really tell how music touches your soul ❤️ U
I remember where I was when I first heard this song. I was less than a minute in and I immediately asked Google who it was. Went home and listened to every song I could find by him.
Glad you are doing Rag & Bone Man's songs/ Please check out Pinl's 2010 Grammy performance. She is capable of far more than singing. We would love for you to react to hat oerformance. Thank you.
If you can, check out his live performance of this song on Graham Norton. It's amazing! Wolves, Lay My Body Down, St. James, Odetta are some of my favourite RnB Man songs. As You Are live at The State of the Ark is phenomenal!
I’d be interested to hear your opinion on this song. This is Brent Smith from Shinedown singing an Apocalyptica song with thier band. One of my all time favs. Love the strings instruments in the background.
I remember finding this on youtube for the first time (big HighFocus fan) when it had like 20k views, and thinkin' "damn, this gonna be a classic". Fast forward ~ one month, and it was on ALL of the radio stations and was at about 200m views - it's at 1.3B views as I write this. I'm a prophet with no profit. EDIT: You're damn right - perfect song for everyone. Well, except for all of the non humans, but even they can still groove to it.
When I purchased this song from iTunes it said it was by and artist named John The Ragin' Cajun; Jones and it was titled "I'm only Human after All" so I was confused when I heard and artist from the UK named Rory Graham aka Rag'n'Bone Man sang the same song but was calling it "Human." I later found out he's the same person just had a different alias. His range is sick!!
MrLboyd, love your reactions. You must listen to Australian singer Guy Sebastian's Battle Scars featuring Lupe Fiasco. One of the biggest songs in Australian history but is underappreciated by the rest of the world.
meh live shows you get what you get :D still an awesome experience either way. Never heard this dude before this is the first thing I've seen from him, he's got that bluesy southern rock vide to his voice which is great.
@@RobWence I agree about the voice which is why I would have liked to have heard it a little more front and center. I also never heard him before this.
This is one of the few songs you want the hear the studio version of, also an amazing video.
Definitely, the studio version is much more impactful!
Yes it is, love this song!
Absolutely watch the studio official version!!!
100% agree. What makes this song so great is it's simplicity. This sounded like a bit of a mess in comparison.
Studio versions 1st before concerts...
Studio version is STUNNING... Powerful British singer.... Comes from the school of hard knocks.. Pink is also great...They worked well together on 'Anywhere but here'.. He's a big man with a big voice.
Rag'n'Bone man is one of the few modern singers that sound as good live as in the studio.
Stood about 10 feet from him during a show in a basement bar in Toronto years back... Can confirm
I really appreciate that thank you
You hear his vocals so much better on the official music video. Must watch!!!
This one makes me so happy. I’ve been listening to him for years. He’s absolutely amazing
Such a rich and projecting voice, very pleasing to the ear.
So much soul in his voice
I met this bloke in July 2017 at Sydney international airport after I’d flown 20 hours straight back from America. We were both pretty jet lagged at 7:30am that morning but was a very humble at receptive given the circumstances.
I recommend "Skin" as well as "Odetta" "Hard Came the Rain" and "Guilty" from his earlier work. Love "Hell Yeah" see the video for this one. "Alone" is one of his newer ones that I would recommend listening to.
I like his even older work with rappers like Leaf Dog on High Focus
I love "skin" !!
First heard of this song back in Germany. It’s an amazing song to listen to!
Its in german radios every 15 minutes. But i didnt think he was white, because his voice has this POWER i expect from black singers.
Also " Skin " from him it s amazing...y cryed the first time i listen to that song ..and still i cry if i hear it😢🥰🥰🥰🇷🇴👍
His recent one with Pink called Anywhere Away From Here is absolutely beautiful
Can we all take a moment to appreciate that tasty base line?
I LOVE his song Giant with calvin Harris ❤
Love this song and your reactions! Thank you
I just discovered this incredible singer and song. I feel like I've been living under a rock.
You know your doing it right when the whole stadium is singing along with you.
He tweeted about a month ago asking if he should do something with Jellyroll... Jellyroll was alllll about it!
This NEEDS to happen...!!! But I would want it to to a vocal masterpiece..
FUCK
YES
Omfg that's it
I ain't mad at it
Heck yes!!! I'm here for a collab with Jelly!!! That would be 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good old Rory, he made this song and others in my neighbours house (mutual friends) we would sit and listen to their raps lol the rum committee is where it all started
Apparent my steps sisters brother knew him or something and was in a group too. Might have been rum committee 🤔
Could be wrong I just remember my dad mentioning something about it

My memories: whats up guys welcome to mystery recap today we will-

I have both his albums straight fire. He’s and awesome artist for sure
You should react to his song, Skin. My personal favourite of his, though everything he does is amazing.
Die Easy by Rag n Bones. An a capella song with so much soul.
Everytime I hear this song its always like the first time...Great song...with a Super rendition...
He sounds great here. I would love to have heard this live
I believe he said his mom listened to blues when growing up and he just picked it up from there
I would also recommend Rag ‘n’ Bone man’s “Love You Any Less”, very moving.
LOVE your Voice Bro. GREAT
Definite my new fav reactor. Let’s do crossfire Stevie ray Vaughn
This is awesome! Gives me goose bumps!
As I said before - I do understand watching the concert versions, but it takes a lot away from the studio ones. Sometimes they even sound like a different song. Waiting for the studio versions though. Cheers my friend :D
The song "Bitter End" by him is AMAZING
So the algorithm sent me here, I love rag’n’bone man but I’ve never seen this reactor, his voice and accent are literally so soothing 😊👌❤️ amazing reaction and genuinely beautiful speaking voice, seriously he should do audiobooks! 👏
Rags used to be part of UK hiphop powerhouse High Focus records. He raps too. Check Dirty Dike - Whoops with him on.
Love your reaction ❤️ You gave me back the buzz I had the first time I heard this song 👍🏾
Thank you, I have heard this song in the past but didn't know who dang it
Thanks for reminding me how great this song is. I have the album, but over time, I pulled it out of my current list of downloaded music. Just took care of that. 👌

Love his voice and love this song!
Excellent choice!!
Mr Lboyd: says “immediately”.
Me:🙂
it amazes me how good this is live, most people have a noticable quality drop live
I love your appreciation of the talent and originality in songs. Your reactions are more genuine than most. I really think you could appreciate a couple young artists up and coming, Billy Strings & Marcus King. I think you will appreciate what you find.
Gotta check out Diana Ankudinova’s cover now. So powerful!
Absolutely love this song.
If he was black he'd be a top selling soul artist. He's white so many black people won't ever hear of him. Music needs to be about the performance not the label.
Also..ENGLISH :)
We don’t need to bring race into this
Label as in colour I agree with you u.k.
He's definitely a top selling artist.
I love Ragnbones. My favorite song is Alone. Careful it really strikes at the heart strings
The song and album is great!!
I always enjoy your reactions. Diana Ankudinova does a cover of this song. And as usual she did an Amazing job. You should react to it, if you haven't already. See you on the next reaction. ❤

5:14 "This is one of the dopest songs I've heard. At very least today."
This is such a great song!
My boy Rags, love love love him 💘💘💘
R&B Man is FRIGGIN' AMAZING!!!!!
Check out his cover of Gimme Shelter in the Live Lounge. It's well worth it.
What about creating your playlist on Spotify for us to enjoy. I'm sure many of us would be interested and enjoy it
If you like this give “put that soul on me” it’s one of my favourite that no one seems to talk about. All his earlier songs are great. 🇬🇧🙏🏻
Tats on his face for a while. Listen to Brits version. “lay me down” is chilling
Skin is a must play as well
Glad you are doing Rag & Bone Man's songs/ Please check out Pinl's 2010 Grammy performance. She is capable of far more than singing. We would love for you to react to hat oerformance. Thank you.
a must listen is the song GIANT !!!!
If you can, check out his live performance of this song on Graham Norton. It's amazing! Wolves, Lay My Body Down, St. James, Odetta are some of my favourite RnB Man songs. As You Are live at The State of the Ark is phenomenal!
On my playlist on Spotify ❤ So cool song 👍
I’d be interested to hear your opinion on this song. This is Brent Smith from Shinedown singing an Apocalyptica song with thier band. One of my all time favs. Love the strings instruments in the background.
There’s an amazing song by Delta Rae called: “Bottom of the River” that has a similar chord progression.
Life in her yet. Is an awesome song by him
First heard this song as the intro to the 1st episode of season 2 of Into the Badlands. And yes highly recommend the studio version
We're a
All just human. So why can't we show more LOVE then HATE
I remember finding this on youtube for the first time (big HighFocus fan) when it had like 20k views, and thinkin' "damn, this gonna be a classic". Fast forward ~ one month, and it was on ALL of the radio stations and was at about 200m views - it's at 1.3B views as I write this.

Well, except for all of the non humans, but even they can still groove to it.
CASISDEAD: PAT EARINGS... WHAT'S MY NAME FT. GIGGS... CITY SLICKERS. PALEEEAAASE REACT TO ONE OF THOSE 🙃
His whole album is fucking great.
He's also a really good rapper
dude's soulful and good......I can see why Diana Ankudinova chose to cover and re-interpret this song....TRUTH !
I have to say I enjoyed the original music video better than the live. It's symbolism is on point!
Definitely watch the music video of this and hear the studio version.
Odetta most definitely 🙏🏻
MrLboyd, love your reactions. You must listen to Australian singer Guy Sebastian's Battle Scars featuring Lupe Fiasco. One of the biggest songs in Australian history but is underappreciated by the rest of the world.
This song is great.
Arrows, guilty, the list goes on and on
This doesn’t do the studio justice. Please react to the studio version, you have to hear his Amazing voice 🙏
The sound guy really needed to bring his mic volume up a bit. The band was over powering his voice a little too much.
meh live shows you get what you get :D still an awesome experience either way. Never heard this dude before this is the first thing I've seen from him, he's got that bluesy southern rock vide to his voice which is great.
@@RobWence I agree about the voice which is why I would have liked to have heard it a little more front and center. I also never heard him before this.
The stage engineers do the balance not those on stage.
Rag'n'Bone predates his song with Pink. Try 'Skin' or 'Lay my body down'...
Hard came the rain Is an amazing song
He has a song called "Die Easy" that is amazing.
