I had no idea Jason was starting his own channel, I hope folks see my comment. I just want the world to know that Jason here, is not only a very stand up dude, but also someone I am proud to call a Mopar brother. Last year at Indy he stayed after the show and helped us pack the truck and my parts inventory away. Even though I kept yelling him he didn't have to, he kept on helping and I will never forget that my friend. You earned my deepest respect that day, because I know we both had long drives ahead of us.
During my years in North Dakota, I drove a 77 C10 long bed, inline 6, 3-speed manual. I had a battery warmer, a lower hose heater, an inline heater core heater, and a block heater. 100-foot cord wrapped around my bumper and a hand full of outlet adapters (that weren't there when I came back) Most businesses had outlets in the parking lot. Good times!!
I love it so far. I have it on a timer, so it's only on for 3 hours before I leave for work. At -8⁰ outside, the coolant temp is around 98⁰. I have heat immediately!
The plug leads to the factory engine block heater. Most trucks in the US, have the plug coming out of the grill. For some reason, the 5th gen Rams end back in the engine compartment. It's a pain to open the hood every time you want to use it.

Anytime Jed! I'll always help other people before me. I'm bored with myself...🤣
@@IndirectConnection1 This is an absolute understatement. You are awesome Jason!
Looks like a great place to live. Free all you can eat snow cones is always nice.
As long as the aren't yellow. Yellow snow is not lemonade flavor!

Now I know why you couldnt feel anything.
It's a little chilly. Trying to zip tie the cord up, with zero feeling in your fingers, was the hardest part.
@@IndirectConnection1 I can imagine.
I bought a three foot extension cord ran it up front. Works great. I have no idea why the short it like that.
Neither do I.
OK for us non snow folk...whats the plug/lead do mate?
