There are going to be a good amount of characters who unfortunately will not become playable characters in Smash.
But it's still interesting to think about what kind of move sets these characters can have if they were playable, so that's why I'm here today.

@@Makaddin ooh, I'm already thinking about the Rock Bottom stage, it could have a giant wall on the left, so you can only KO opponents on your right, and the bus could also drive in from the right and if anyone is hit by it, it would act like Kapp'n's bus, where it could carry someone all the way to the top blast zone if they can't mash out of it, or it could just hit people and deal knockback

So with this in mind, think you can do the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where they switch out like Pokemon Trainer. They have plenty games to pull
Adding to this idea a smidge, each Turtle has somewhat different ranges and properties.
Leonardo (Blue for anyone somehow unaware) - Generally all-rounded, no major strengths or weaknesses. This, or maybe being better on defenses like shield, parry, and dodge for lower damage amounts.
Raphael (Red) - Higher attack power and launch ability, at the cost of worse defense (weaker shield, easier to launch) and reduced attack range.
Michelangelo (Orange) - Faster movement and attacks, with a deficiency in launch power.
Donatello (Purple) - Worse attack in normals, defense, and speed, in exchange for better range and enhanced specials, especially when it comes to recovery.
Idea: If that works, dream smp could also work, because they could also work like Pokémon trainer.

Something I thought of for that. Like Joker's Final Smash, if the Spongebob is guaranteed to K.O. the remaining opponent(s) in his Final Smash, it'll cut straight to the Victory Screen and keep the Goofy Goober Rock as his Final Smash Victory Music.

OOH I have an idea! Spongebobs patties can be sheilded to prevent eating them. Also, Spongebob would only be able to use the side special 12 times in as stock, after that he won't be able to use it again since he's out of ingredients, you can however pick up dropped burgers to restore burgers to his supply, this wouldn't add a patty counter.

I sorta have an Idea for his moveset
Jab: 3 hit jab (his normal melee in the games)
Dash attack:Heroic Kick.
Side tilt:Big punch. This shoots a fist size beam to deal light flinching dmg
Up tilt: strong uppercut. Some end lag also
Down tilt. Low punch to the ground.
Neutral air: Short turbo twister. Some end lag because he gets dizzy
Forward air: Another punch. Strong but no beam.
Back air: Short laser beam.
Up air: Another uppercut. Weaker but less end lag.
Down air: downward punch.
(I'm out of ideas. Also I'm bad at this so don't yell at me.)

Here we are one year later and he was put in another smash style fighting game instead, oh how the universe works in mysterious ways.
We all know that people are gonna make Spongebob Memes if he gets into Smash since there’s pretty much a new one every month.
I’ve been here ever since your Frisk moveset video and have continued to watch your videos ever since then and I can’t wait for another 50 episodes of this series! And for requests, Wooloo would be an interesting fighter to add into Smash since one Irish Nerd already killed a bunch of them to get a Shiny Wooloo.

Well, it kinda happened.
Fun Fact: James Bond was considered as a playable character for Super Smash Bros. Melee, based on _GoldenEye 007_ on the Nintendo 64 (which is where the Motion-Sensor Bomb came from).
But Nintendo shut it down because guns weren't appropriate even though it has a T rating

Idea for the bubble-based attacks: depending on the attack, he'll do one of his moves from the bubble-blowing technique (spin around-stop, pelvic thrust, etc) however its quick so that there's little to no start lag
I feel like he should've just stuck with the first two neutral specials, as they make sence being the same move, charged and uncharged.

Joking aside, it's a nice move set. My only issue is that I feel too much is being pulled from the games, which though I understand the reasoning for it on the other hand I feel non-game characters often get poorly represented in the games they star in as, well, characters, and in a game like Smash, where characters are usually portrayed as how they are in the series they star in general, I feel an issue may arise unless a character has 400 different games that when stitched together paint an accurate character
(I guess if I had to provide a good example Spongebob being a frycook, a major part of his character in the show, is pretty much nonexistant in the games he stars in, and is unfortunately kind of reflected in this move set outside of two attacks. Even a victory animation would've sufficed)
Overall it's a good move set! Just wish there were some more touches or references to the show proper as I feel that's how it would realistically go down if he was in Smash
I also thought the Final Smash was a little too specific I'd say? While a Final Smash based on Boating School is a good idea this one just seems a bit too slow to activate and may be a bit repetitive after being used too much

Heck yeah I loved this one. Spongebob was a huge part of my childhood growing up, and even though I'm a senior in high school now, I still like spongebob references and stuff.
You know, if Nintendo decides to make another smash game. The story should that all the classic characters were captured and it's up to all the modern characters to save them.

What if Patrick was in Smash? I have a few ideas for the specials.
Neutral Special - Hooky: Patrick would toss a lasso - like hook at the opponent, if it touches an enemy, it will start to drag in the foe doing little but rapid damage to them, the only way to escape is to mash the buttons, if you don’t do that quick enough, Patrick would slam the enemy down on the ground doing *heavy damage*
Side Special - Ticket to Pain: Patrick would put Krabby Patties on his feet and slide toward any foe in front of him, but if he hits a wall, he will be hurt and will become dizzy.
Up Special - Jelly Trampoline: Patrick would create a jellyfish under him that he could bounce on, the jellyfish would have 3 jumps, and every time he jumps on the jellyfish, the jellyfish would have a slight shock come from the sides, stunning any fighter too close.
Down Special - Fruit Throw: A random fruit would spawn in front of Patrick, it would ether be the Throw Fruit or the much more rare, Freeze Fruit, the Throw Fruit could be picked up and Thrown at opponents, and would lock on to the closest enemy, but the freeze fruit on the other hand would not lock on to enemies, but it’s slightly bigger and any foe hit would freeze, just like Lucas’s PK Freeze.
Final Smash - Shell City: For the final smash, a giant boot would stomp down near Patrick, and any enemy too close would get crushed, and all the hit enemies would fly onto a table with a lamp shining bright on it, this would dry up the hit enemies, but unlike in the movie, it would end with a giant laser of heat burn the foes to a crisp.
BONUS - Alternate Costumes, Taunts, and Victory Animations.
Alternate Costumes:
his first alternate costume would have him wearing a Krusty Krab hat, just like spongebob
his second would be him with a mustache, which is father, herb star has.
his third would have him wear spongebob’s clothing, trying to mimic him.
his fourth would be him wearing a big cowboy hat, basically trying to be dirty dan.
his fifth would be his shorts turning a black color with red spots, being a reference to the robo patrick boss from battle for bikini bottom.
his sixth would be him wearing Mr Krabs clothing, and his skin turning an almost red pink color.
his seventh would have him wear an air helmet, what he uses to breathe in sandy’s tree dome.
speaking of Sandy, his final alt would have him wear sandy’s bikini.
Taunts:
His first taunt would make him sit down and make the “surprised” face he makes in the spongebob movie.
His second would have Gary come from behind him and slither around his pants, with him laughing.
His final taunt would have him pull a Krabby Patty from out his pants and eat it, if Patrick’s patty counter from spongebob is lower than 5, then he’ll pull out an entire stack and toss them up and eat them, if he has a patty count above 5, he’ll pull out a bigger stack, look sad because he can’t eat them all, and he’ll put them back.
Victory Animations:

For his second, he’ll fall from the ground out of nowhere, and will lift his head up, making a stupid face.
For his final, he’ll spin around before falling on the ground, dizzy. This is a reference to the robo patrick fight from battle for bikini bottom.
Instead of fruit how about ice cream when he throws it it has a 20% chance of freezing the opponent and to get out you have to button mash

Stage Intro (My Take): The Hand will put Spongebob on stage dehydrated as a normal sponge but THEN Bubbles the Magical Dolphin will appear and gift Spongebob with the ability to breathe as he comes back to life!
Final Pallet: It can be Spongebob with a Military helmet from both "Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom" and the movie "The Spongebob Movie: Sponge out of Water".
Krabby Patty (2nd and 3rd outcome):
2nd outcome: It can be the Nasty Patty, which poisions opponents for about a few seconds.
3rd outcome: It can be the Krabby Patty with Jellyfish Jelly which rarely electrifies opponents.
Echo Fighter: PATRICK STAR!!!
Full Moveset Idea: He'll be a Heavyweight fighter with 3 jumps and the ability to crawl and float, along with the same intro and moveset as Spongebob exepct with SOME different moves (Note: the moves I won't note down will be just like Spongebob's moves)for example:
Neutral Attack: He'll get a big rock and do a slam with the big rock, it can also be a rapid jab as he yells out "Spider!!!".
Forward Tilt: he can do Spongebob's forward tilt instead without the gear.
Down Tilt: He can swing a Jellyfishing Net across the ground.
Down Smash: He can twirl around on his back like a turtle and say "Wheeeeee!!!".
Neutral Aerial: He'll spin like a boomerang while facing towards the screen.
Foward Aerial: He will do a headbutt in front of himself.
Up Aerial: He'll inflate his head as a bowling pin and swing his head upwards.
Grab, Pummel and Throws: Same as Spongebob's.
Neutral Special: Bubble Blow; He'll blow a bubble forward as it goes forward at HIGH speed, if you hold and then release it, he'll make a bubble as a bomb as it looks like a bomb and it's tossable ONLY BY PATRICK.
Side Special: Ice Cream!; Patrick will hold out Ice Cream and toss it as a projectile, the opponents will eat it too, if the opponents eat 5 Ice Creams, they'll have some start and end lag when they attack, after 10 Ice Creams, they'll freeze, a sign of brain freeze. If you hold the button, you charge up your range, but after 8 seconds, Patrick will just eat it as it barely heals him.
Up Special: Inflatable Pants; It'll be where Patrick pulls a string from his pants to only inflate them and lift him upwards only for recovery as he shakes a bit while he's flying up for a few seconds, exepct it won't lift him that high and will pop automatically after a few seconds.
Down Special: Magic Pencil; He'll draw a bowling ball and roll it forward, hold down the b button for 2 seconds and he'll spawn a Squidward Jellyfish as it acts annoying across the stage, hold it out for 5 seconds and he'll draw a wrench and toss it forward.
Final Smash: Gummy; He'll get gummy from behind the stage and get INSIDE gummy (Spongebob logic) and roll across the stage while being invincible in this state before the final smash comes to an end after 12 seconds as Patrick gets out of Gummy and puts him back behind the stage
1st Taunt: Patrick will slip and fall face first trying to do the bring it around town motion.
2nd Taunt: He'll fall asleep while standing up, he'll burp and wake up and yell "HUH? WHO WAS THAT?!....oh..".
3rd Taunt: He'll laugh out "Duh huh huh!" over and over uncontrollably like Spongebob.
Victory Screens; just like Spongebob's.

I feel like the final smash should have had spongebob turn into his iconic guitar wizard form that you see in the spongebob movie where he will Shoot laser beams all around the stage similar to ness’ finall smash except the lasers are coming from spongebob himself directed towards the middle top of the screen where spongebob will be located. And while yes I’m well aware that this doesn’t show it any spongebob game aside from the movie. Does it really matter? I mean seriously I feel like if the final smash in particular where to defy that simple rule it would make things so much more emotional because it comes from an extremely iconic and Empowering moment in the series.
