Definitely. However I can how it kinda justifies the cost by being capable of so much and doing it SO stylishly. Seriously, this looks gorgeous! The layout is so logical, unique and pleasing to the eye.
To be fair I wouldn't mind that myself. I have the Oxi One as my sequencer so don't need another, though the sequencer in this machine can do the 'reverse' waveform trick among others which no external sequencer is going to be able to handle. In short - you need a Cirklon AND an Modor DR-2. :D
Keep SHIFT+MODEL down while starting up. There are 2 small video instructions on our download page: www.modormusic.com/downloads.html Thanks for reporting, we'll include a small instruction document in the update .zip!
@@ModorMusic well then. I’m buying it. Today. Honestly this is what I’ve been looking for in a drum machine. Thank you for doing this. I’m hopeful you will consider doing additional updates that allow for individual output processing. Well done!
For the price, do you really think all that "menu diving" makes it better? Yeah, it expands the functions, but you'd have to remember what each button press, and slider movement does.
Hi Jrod, An overview card with all the key and knob combinations can be found here: www.modormusic.com/downloads/ModorDR-2Kaart.pdf . That's indeed quite heavy at first sight, and the DR-2 surely does have a certain learning curve. However, most combinations will feel very logical after using them a few times. About menu diving: you'll find yourself barely using the menu. Yes, the Euclidean generator is in it, that would have required too complex keypress combinations otherwise. But for the rest, it only has some system settings, a handy item copy function, and some sysex and initialisation options. No submenus and easy menu navigation. We really don't want to see you spending time inside the menu... :-) We'll post more videos explaining all the functions of the DR-2 soon!
Damn, looks like you're right! I wasn't aware of it. Give us a little time, we'll correct things as much as possible! ruclips.net/video/htbRx2jgF-E/видео.html
Amazing!! Can’t wait for more updates! Only thing I wish this machine had was motion recording!
Euclidean mode is always cool, and volume/gain per track seems to be helpful for really working those faders in a live scenario - nice one!
Thanks for the update!! :)
It sounds amazing, can’t wait till we get new sound algorithms
In my opinion if you combine Vermona DRMIII+sequencer+FX machine, you can make amazing things under £1000.

killer sound!
Marcel, great Feature Upgrade! Very nice sounding and versatile machine. Unfortunately a little pricy. 😉
Hi modor , please release a module version only without the sequencer ( incoming cirklon )
You'll def.find new customers who are interested in that

very nice
BTW. I don't know how many CPU time left available - for maybe some Delay & Reverb/Chorus FX? Would be great addition as well!
hi, the DR-2 OS0003 firmware update .zip file does NOT contain update instructions.... how do I put the DR-2 into a firmware receive mode?

Is the compressor available on individual outs?
Yes, every channel has it's own compressor, with sidechaining possibility between channels.
@@ModorMusic and that effect is available even if using the individual outputs? Or is it only if you use the stereo mix output?
@@Andy-iw9su Yes indeed, it's also on the individual outs!
