Looks like you moved one pile of rocks from one spot to another spot...It sure made a great wall and gave you another road. That old dump truck just about had enough ,way over loaded, but if it breaks you'll just fix it..Its always nice to see you work, give us a drone shot, Old Levi, right there by your side. See Ya
Mister Camarata , I lived in Africa for many years , the local mechanics were poor and had no cash to spare for genuine spares , however they always managed to come up with at least a temporary solution involving strips of inner tube , bits of wood , welding scrap metal/rebar etc. and they got things going...even if only temporary, So I see nothing wrong with a temp. repair involving a piece of wood.Well done.
Just amazing how oil has allowed us to make machines to carry that much weight.. i know electric engines are the future, but the combustion engine was genius. Reshaped humanity.
Outside of Tampa Florida Moasic has open pit mines not sure what they are mining . They have huge drag line machines that are electric these machines are monsters
It has been a few years since I been there but it seems to me there was a large electrical cable coming out of it . I stopped to watch one and they moving it and the cable was going along with the machine
I like to see a FitBit put on Levi to see how many steps he takes during a day watching you work. Another beautiful job of working with those beautiful blue shale rocks. I would like to see the castle in 30 years as I know it will be a local legendary historical landmark.
Andrew, great video. i bet you are glad you have all that Equipment because that work you do would cost you a fortune . and all the other stuff you do. great video, keep up the good work.
I admire your creativity and work ethic. You will go a long long way with that combination. I appreciate that you are willing to invest in tools and machinery to make your dreams manifest but never waste a dime. Your place is beautiful.
always wondered, if you had any really bad storms in your area to where you ever had to repair or fix any of this rock wall?? and Love the fact that Levi is out there making sure your doing it all right:-)
@@AndrewCamarata hey Andrew do you ever worry about your dog being run over?. I had labs for years before I got divorced and didn't have time to tend to them working 12 to 14 hours a day. I never worried about them outside they always would move. But I just wondered around equipment if you worry about stuff in the Rocks taken off and rolling at them , AR they pretty good about getting out of the way?
That looked like fun. When you finish for the day you can admire your hard work, for years to come actually. I'd grab a cold beer and make a reminder on my phone to order more diesel.
Lovely surreal music on this one. On a more serious level, would you not be worried about Levi being there when there are huge boulders slipping off your truck?
There is something about excavators that is so right. I have a John Deere 490D now, but also want a Yanmar like Andrew's. 490D with full forsestry guard weighs in just over 30,000 pounds and I need something lighter that I can pull around with a pickup truck. Yanmar seems like a good fit, but hard to find where I am at.
Such a beautiful and faithful dog! You and 'pup' sure do get your exercise on this project. I was thinking that the stone wall is a work of art, Good job as always, you have to be proud.
Finally found a rock that filled the bed in one scoop, I don't know how much it weighed but it sure made a nice corner in the bend. As always, nice work and of course a turn for you as well
Andrew, I don't know if you read these older video comments, but, in case you don't know...when buying containers, if you buy ones used for refrigeration, they're insulated and come wired. Two things which worth paying more for.
Andrew you are so blessed living in the area where you are surrounded by natural landscape materials are every where.Your imagination and ability's allow you to put together the pieces like a puzzle making a work of art. And your talent and determinization is remarkable and to show it to the rest of us. Its a pleasure listening and seeing so many things we are capable of doing from watching you . Thats no accident you just keep on doing it well. Be safe we would all miss you if any thing happend to you. Thanks

man u got all the good toys and makes a job much easier. all i got is a 77 chevy dump truck and a 69 case 580 ck backhoe , dozer is next but not sure if i want a crawler or dozer. love the videos keep em comming
Man,you should secure the dog. He’s gonna get flattened one day when you are working your heavy equipment. You can’t always see him when he’s running around like that.
Lookin forward to video of you takin out the rest of that hillside at end of this video of bluestone and dirt back to the cliff..your videos are awesome entertaining
When I visited Scotland there were miles and miles of stone fencing....dry steen dike...(not sure of the spelling) but what it meant was a fence without any mortar. That is what you are building. Congrats...well done.
Nice work with the stone. I appreciate your hard work and skill shown building your home. But, there is one thing I do not like; the choice of music in this video is depressing. Something much more upbeat to match your energy level wold be better.
I really enjoy the videos of you working on your property in its early stages. Great background music! Have you listened to the music from “The Last of the Mohicans” ?
Beautiful thing to watch! Yet as you piled giant rocks next to the neatly stacked wall of little flat rocks, I wondered if you were setting rocks for an invader to roll down on your house and yard. Since you piled up dirt behind them, that's no longer a consideration. But then I wondered what would keep all those rocks in place were there an earthquake to shake them loose, or maybe a flood to take out the soil under the rocks.
Andrew, you have a unique advantage living on the side of- a mountiain side that's mostly Blue Stone you have some much to chose from. Gives you a lot of desgin ideas at your finger tips just riding aronund.Ie your own little Quary....!
Making some net or H-beam fence with net on the rock will help you when heavy storm or heavy rain. You better move your tub to safe location like your front yard. The rock or some stones will fly to your structure. If it is stone, it's not so bad. If it is rock, nothing will remain. Excellent tower with spectacular view. You can die for it. I think the best way is moving it to safe location. Some landslide accident happened in korea. More than 10 person died. If you don't want to move your castle, at least you better make fence. Good luck...
I watch Chris @ letsdig18 and he's a great operator but watching you takes it to another level. A true extension of your hand at work. Thanks for the vids.
I admire the great job your dog did supervising the project.
Robert Coates Ha, Dog 🐶 was holding a stop watch..too.
Nothing gets done unless Levi is supervising.
Agreed. That Levi runs a tight ship!
Dude, so awesome, makes me want to go out and surprise my wife with her very own excavator and dump truck for her birthday!
Do it, she will love it.
I'll take two ...
Let me know how that works out? Divorce is expensive
Wow 2 years later I bought a mini excavator, now just need the dump truck.

Genius!
SciPunk215 it’s like the old cliche “necessity is the mother on invention.”
You should see how he uses a chain saw to install a radio in his truck.
After watching him make a wall all nite and day, I can die in peace. Amazing job.

Wow, you have to move quickly to keep up w/the dog.
Wow that trucks awesome. Handled those loads like a champ
Knucklehead1995 of course, it’s a Ford
Dropping those boulders onto your truck, I didn't think it'd take it well. But it did! Impressive job
That has got to be the hardest working single axle dumper in the world
You are running a great risk at that hillside. That big boulder young man. Must stabilize the slope.
Love how the green bulldozer looked like stop animation or claymation in the time lapse.

That truck likes it.
Andrew Camarata that tailgate and chains are co-MVPs.
I can not believe I missed this video. What a treat!
Revisiting this one. I forgot how eery the music is. Like a vampire MPG. Very cool.
Nice walls. If you get the chance you should make a walk around video of the shipping container garage.
