only con of top floor is its little warmer and in north india you need an ac even if you live on ground floor so even that point becomes irrelevant somewhat. I’ve been living on top floor for 20+ years. All the Apparments i own are on top floor. In future also it going to be top floor here are the reasons and observations i made in last 20 years. 1. Balcony view from the top floor has the best view 2. Very less noise disturbance 3. No disturbances from the above floor people like moving furniture , running kids in Apparment or any noise whatsoever. 4. Never had any seepage issue because its just tank and then 1st is your flat. All the flats i own every building has seepage issue in lower floors. 5. Easy access to roof in case of any emergency like fire etc or you just wanna roam around 6. It’s the cheapest. Usually if a appartment is for 50 lacs on top you can easily get it for 45 lac so 10% less that’s kind of rule in NCR atleast. I heard it’s opposite in mumbai not sure though. 7. Water doesn’t come in balcony when maid cleans the above floor balcony.
But if its close to highway, then? I have experienced lot of noise from vehicles from highway on high floor... how about choosing somewhat in middle in a say 30 floor tower?

I stay on 1st floor out of 22 floors . Luckily i dont face any issue listed for lower floor because my flat is on back side of the building. Less noise. No mosquito . Lot of privacy as not much traffic in thst zone. Never ever faced drainage issue. Benefits r i have easy access to podium level. No time waste in lift. Apartment is cooler. Water pressure is high. Electricity bill is lower compared to higher floors. Balcony view is close to lower garden.

It depends i dont think there will be the ventilatiin problem but there may be heating problem in summer and you shoupd check for the proper tiles and waterproofing on terrace for preventing water leakage

In my opinion, the only valid con for living on the top floor is the warming issue. Everything else also happens on middle floors, many times even worse in terms of leakage. I prefer getting leak from rain than someone else's toilet or dranage, and that happened to me!

@@ajayyadav4473 your point 3rd is the reason I'm considering top floor, i live in 4th floor(17th floor total) Family above are playing at night with all sorts of balls and skipping rope and dragging around all sort of things that make noise. A simple request to them made the noise situation worse, Now I'm considering top floor.

Guide me through now when we already bought it.. you know there're lot of cracks in our building and they started to appear only after we bought it. Uske pehle they just got it fixed like some touch up or whatever you may call. I don't get it why do these builders play with people's lives and feelings.
