    I like that idea of inviting a chef to cook for one night at your restaurant. Its like inviting musician to have a dj set at your club

    Love these guys! Really talented, real Chefs and really amazing food. Their simple focus of what their core flavors are explains it all. San Marzano tomatoes, pecorino romano cheese, and outstanding olive oil, just brilliant. Blessings ChefMike

      It always happens from munchies videos, its so common to see people say that the food is not authentic just because it is done by a hipster and such.
      Food is food regardless of who cooked it, if its good, then fuck it I'll eat that shit, should it even matter who cooked it unless its a master chef?
      Just look at the breakfast milk iced latte on their channel, dear lord!

      De hecho esas cocinas están dentro de las 10 mejores del mundo. La mexicana, francesa junto a la Peruana son patrimonío no material de la humanidad :) Su riqueza y variedad son interminables además del proceso que conllevan, son cocinas milenarias.

    Pujol is pretty pricey, but me and my friends managed to find a decent restaurant in Condesa called "Azul Historico". That was legit.
    If you ever go to Oaxaca, Casa Oaxaca, La Biznaga, or most anything on the street is absolutely incredible.

    Franks are away from the kitchen for a long time, that eggplant dish should had been done in the oven (add oil to a tray) put it in the oven, bake/fry there, or just get 1 tray the size of all the stove and do it there.

    This has nothing to do with being frank. These guys have obviously huge education flaws stemming from ignorance of a UNESCO honoured cuisine. I am personally shocked. I can see they are positive towards the mexican cuisine, but the ignorance - given their position - is shocking to me.

    So let me understand this, these guys go to Mexico to cook the food they usually cook with in the US...they are cooking Italian etc. with products they brought from Brooklyn... I thought they were in Mexico to showcase Mexican culinary traditions...That's kind of disrespectful!

    • @lukaspeter256
      @lukaspeter256 10 лет назад

      It's the point of the event to bring your stuff and showcase it at Pujol. It might not be the smartest thing to show in an episode on Mexico but I don't think it's disrespectful. And at least they tried to infuse some Mexican ingredients.

      Brandon Chu. Ask where is he/she's from. Where I'm from, it can be taken in a negative way be called Hispanic, of course some would take it has a positive way. My family consider our self Mexican. If you want to find out b/c of the last name sound foreigner or appearance, just ask where did your ancestor come from? Please avoid guessing calling someone based on your taught.
