Great soundtrafk from a great game!
I hope that as many people as possibly is watching these movies/listening to the soundtrack. If they get popular enough we might be lucky enough that Creative Assembly and SEGA releases the soundtrack on a disc. :) So view and rate!
This music sums it up why Napoleon Total War needs the middle east and desert regions that both Rome Total War and Medieval II had.

wow CA actually uses a real orchestra to play their music for them.
How can you make music like this without Orchestra? Every music like this is from Orchestra.

u gotta give CA this:they make a game in hopes tht the ppl will enjoy it.they look at it and think if theyd wanna play it.and devote alot of time into evry asspect so evry game is as good as napoleon total war

The only modern helmet that looked great was Stahlhelm, since it was based on older helmets...

@victinhoemn Before Napoleon and Empire they recorded their music using their own program. They used it again for Shogun.
Actually, both games have awesome soundtracks.
Since many of Empire's soundtracks are also used in Napoleon. :)

Absolutely agree. It's interesting but too chaotic.
The problem of these soundtracks is that, even if they are agreeable to listen to and make a good musical ambient, they are all forgettable and won't stick to the mind because they lack of a "story-telling" aspect and all sound the same more or less.
In comparison, all of Jeff Van Dyck soundtracks for the Total War series are memorable and, above making a very nice musical ambient, they also stick to the mind of the player even years after, because they all have their own identity, they all tell their own story which make them very unique and enjoyable.
We need more songs with actual lyrics in them. I can't recognize any Total War track after Med 2 anyway no matter how technically good they are as they don't have soul.
If i go for the honorable death or glorious victory i always do it whit style!

If you were in a battle, you'd probably prefer the practical and protective modern battle gear over the admittedly much better looking garb of the 19th century :P

This is a compilation of different tracks from the game, which is probably why it doesn't seem connected.
Judging from the instruments used and the musical style i BET that these battle musics play when you fight...say the Ottoman empire?
An interesting theme but it's kind of directionless. It ebbs and flows but it's confusing. A good theme tells a story even without any lyrics.

napoleon's soundtrack cured my dislike for richard beddow's music. I actually never gave him a chance and I feel like an asshole for that. I still miss jeff van dyck but I enjoy richard beddow's work.
Dislikes: Austrian Empire, British Empire and Russian Empire!
And Ottoman's , don't forget the Ottomans 😁😁 erm or the Prussians .
