I don't know the answer, but getting W&Q together is sweet, and seems to work better. I'm real new to Morgana & haven't managed that move except by accident when my fingers knew better than my brain :) However, one thing i "have" witnessed is that with her Q, even though the stun stops at the first minion it hits, the damage still extends the full range of the spell. Great for finishing off champs that are obstructed by other units. I bet Blitz' Rocket Grab has the same feature.
Your guides are amazing, and if I am going into game as morgana(or some other champion) I just search for your guide and look for runes, masteries and item build(which are not hard to find since you have time at description). Thx ;)
you can actually buy rylai's crystal scepter too , so if someone is chasing you and your Q is on cooldown then you can use your W it will make the enemy slower , ez escape

it's actually better to place your w right before your dark binding hits. It lowers the enemies mr and increases your q damage quite a bit.

My suggestion for the build: instead of crucible, if you are looking for more utility, you can go for Rylai's Scepter, for the added CC

Polymorph is not an instant cast. It is a fairly quick projectile that is blocked by Yasuo and Braum walls.
