OMGoodness!!!! Out of all the videos I've watched yours has spoken to me the most. I feel the exact emotions as you. I'll be starting in mid May and am so excited to start this journey. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS!!!!! My goal is no retakes as well lol Best Wishes!!!!
Been binging all your training videos and they are amazing! I am in the hiring process to be a flight attendant and I’m super excited! I just wondered how they rank your seniority when they assign your bases and why do some people leave early during the training?
Hi! Thank you - I LOVE Miami! Seniority is determined by age in training. I was like 2nd youngest in my class, so my seniority was the lowest - however, any class after your class that graduates, regardless of age of the graduates, you will be above them in seniority. I was SHOCKED I got Miami because my seniority was so low...I expected like NY or Washington - those are junior bases that people get when they are low on the seniority list. Hope that helps!!
Greetings Sarrah.. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. As follows I've received my CJO with American Airlines and I'm heading to Foxworth Texas, Flight Attendant Training in a couple of moths hopefully. I'm sure as to everyone else attending I'm a bit nervous, so if theres any tip you can share with me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Congrats on making it this far! I have my CJO but we flew out for training and got sent back home the same day because of coronavirus. I can't wait for things to go back to normal. So ready to get my wings!
Keep It Cute, Cass ugh I’m so sorry! Which class were you?? When all this craziness settles down, you will be back in class and earning your wings!!! Keep me posted on how things go too!! Sending lots of love to you... hang in there!!
Omg!! At the end you’re so funny!! 😂 positive thoughts for the airlines to bounce back from covid... cus I have a training date with your airline too! 😍😂
Hello Sarah. My Name is Jester Watching all the way from the Philippines. Your Videos are so inspiring and very Detailed. Thanks for sharing thou so that I could get a glimpse as to what to expect during the Flight Attendant Training. Again Thank you. Congratulations for gettint MIA as ur base too.

Hi sarrah! I just started your flight attendant series. I actually have my interview July 13!! I’m super nervous for the interview! Watching your vlog got me super excited and I don’t even have the job yet lol. I do have a question… are you able to use your notes for the tests that you take?
Hi!!! I’m going to training soon too and I was curious, do you consider yourself a good test taker? Bc I’m not that great if I’m being honest and just really want to be ready going into training. Thanks so much! And love your videos!
Hi - Congrats!!! Yes I would consider myself a good test taker - nervous before but once in, I tend to focus well. You will do great - just study hard and find a good study group!! XXOO
When doing image checks do they critique your makeup? I’m going to training in a couple weeks but never wear makeup and I’m wondering if I’ll need to learn how to quickly or not😅 Thank you sm in advance!
No they don't - they offer tips of what they think would be nice but you don't have to wear any makeup if you don't want to. A little mascara and lip gloss goes a long way of finishing off the look:) Best of luck to you!!
These videos from training are so helpful and detailed. I have a CJO with another mainline carrier and am so anxious for training to start once Coronavirus is gone! In this video you mentioned loosing a few people from your class, is that because they didn't pass the test? Are you able to retake any tests or is it like single elimination? Thanks for all your tips!
Thank you for watching and commenting! Yes, we lost people when they would fail a test - with our airline, you could only fail 2 tests total - failing was a 89 or below score - so that was super hard! You could take a retake the next morning if you failed, and if you failed the retake you were out right then. A lot of pressure for sure! Wishing you the very best on your training, when it happens, and just take one test at a time, get sleep and find people who study like you do - that will help! Keep me posted on how things go!! XXOO
Thank you so much! That is a lot of pressure. It makes sense why you were so tired haha It sounds mentally exhausting but also so fun getting to know your classmates.
When they choose your base do you have the opportunity to be able to commute? I also am wondering how did you and the other girls handle being away from family/friends for 6 weeks during training?
Yes you can commute for sure, but honestly with being on reserve and having to do standby at the airport, I don't see how you would have time to commute in...probably need a crashpad in your new city for sure. I was lucky to have my mom close to visit me, so it made it easier for me - others did a lot of facetiming family and we all got very close too and supported everyone when they felt down or lonely missing family. Everyone seemed to do well in our class though:)
Hey Sarrah! I just recently started your training videos and I'm looking into becoming a flight attendant and I think the most overwhelming thing for me is the back to back to test. I wanted to know what the percentage is passing for a test?
Hi - the testing is tough but if you study hard it is doable for sure. With American, you need a 90% or higher on each test to pass it. 89 or below is a fail. You get 2 retakes total - 3 retakes and you are out.
Hi! Bare Minerals powder foundation - Medium Tan:) I use korean skincare - if you haven't already, check out my video on my skincare routine!! I used a ricewater based facewash:)

Sarrah Hoosh thanks for your answer! I was wondering about the Buenos Aires based FAs did they move to Argentina? And since they got their base has anything changed with their situation like base changes because of covid?
It took me 10 days to hear back from my airline once I applied - then another week or so until I have my video interview - than another 2 weeks to my F2F. Each airline is different - best of luck to you!!!!
