This song and especially this cover will always make me think of a woman I taught on my mission, Carla. She was really trying to turn her life around and turned herself in, we only taught her for 3 weeks but I just loved her so much. Her pain and her sincerity and how hard she was trying just really affected me. I still worry about her and pray for her and I am so proud of her and I hope she's doing okay. She'll be in jail for a very very long time but man what I'd give to see her again and just give her a hug and know she's okay.
