Сколько лет прошло, как была на дипломной практике в Туркменистане, под Ашхабадом в конезаводе Комсомол. А всё хочу вернуться туда. Ностальгия мучает, как о потерянном рае.
I think they are already there. To me most of these horses are built downhill, high in the bum, low in the withers, swayed in between and ewe necked to boot. I wouldn't give you a tuppence for the lot of them.
Unfortunately, they handle them like that because the way their horses react to the yanking is what they mistake for wild spirit and temperament. This is common in all the Middle East, North Africa and parts of Asia. Only frisky horses with their noses up high in the air are prefered, the more they rear and toss their heads the better. If they don't do it naturally because of a hot temper they are yanked until they do. I have worked in Egypt (not with horses, though I rode many there), saw it all the time and I haven't found one single horse which wasn't head-shy and not sway backed.
These horses are not ewe-necked. Some of them are obviously young and still growing, hence the croup higher than the whithers. As for how they are handled, this is an exhibition and young horses - particularly stallions - will be high spirited. Teke horses are very tough and a few energetic outbursts is not going to hurt them. I salute the handlers for not using whips or war bridles on these lovely horses. A friend of mine has a Teke mare going on 26 years old. She looks and behaves like a 3-year old. Thank you for making this fine video. The handlers clothing is gorgeous, befitting these beautiful horses.
I understand Turks decorate the horses on special occasions. I'm trying to find what the name of the neck pieces are that they use on the horses. Anyone know? Thanks.
The one who writes, that Akhal-Teke horses are mistreated, just don't know this breed of horse and how the Turkmens belong to the horses. Animals holenia and cherished. Heavenly ARGAMAK not for everyone, not everyone can handle this horse, they have a very special complex and delicate sensitive nature, it was the horse one host with a cool temper, smart and stubborn, but in a pinch, if you have rapport with this horse, he will not fail
spottedbutt Have you ever seen the Akhal-Teke? Doubt))) your horse is a Mustang and nothing more... That when half-bloods and stay))) Where are you up to this ancient pure breed.
Akhal-Teke horse (heavenly agramak) - the oldest thoroughbred horse breed that was developed about 5,000 years ago. ... The Akhal-Teke horse is one of the fastest in the world.
Akhal-Teke stand out a striking, exterior. Perfectly adapted to life and work in hot climates. Quickly acclimatizers and other weather conditions. Akhal-Teke horses have influenced the development of many breeds - the English racehorse, Arabic etc.
these are grade horses. the one tossing his head every few steps is use to be walked on a walker. That tossing is from hours of trying to throw off the over head rope..
+Liz Blevins does not look like it it looks like the handler to me. Standing directly in front of the horse constantly yanking on the rope, and running in front of the horse. He is going to get trampled. Horrible messy handling
Spottedbutt, big breeding barns don't bother to train and handle all the horses, except for the top champions. That is why you see these horses tossing their heads and clamping their tails. It's a lack of human handling, they get brushed and put on a walker for an hour or so and then its back to their stall.

Great breed but please, use different headcollars or handle them more gently, they will end it up with back problems..

Наконец то нормально откормленный конь браво
Is the song being sung by Gurbangouly, the President? xaxaxa
Stunning breed of desert horses. Not an Arabian. close though. Longer backs and different faces.
They are unique to the Arabian and have helped to develop the Thoroughbred horse.
what is going on with that halter they put on them,.....it seems to either really irritate them or even hurt them....not good at all.
I love those big white hats!
fiyatları 13.000 ile 18.000 £ (ingiliz sterlini) arasında değişiyor. yaklasık 13.000 £ =57.000 tl
Why do the 3. Man try to get the poor horse head up?
What's the first song? The song is in Russian?
I don't know Russian well but I hear "Не хочу"
he clearly does not like his hat.

Yes Turkoman is responsible for the Thoroughbred! Is an anciet breed! Yet they are hardly given credit! How can you deny the influence of this horse.
terrible handling
Looks like this person does not know how to handle horses, obviously making them head shy😩

+spottedbutt hours on a walker? How horrible! Abuse!
+spottedbutt grade horses? What does that have to do with horrible handling?
