I’m not perfect, I am sometimes in the wrong lane when I don’t know the area or I’m just dozy. When it’s not safe to move over, do you know what I do? I swallow it, commit to my mistake and either reroute, turn around in the next turning, go round the roundabout or if on a motorway, I go to the next junction. WTF is so difficult about that for 99% of other people?
The problem is that most people seem to think that doing it correctly, like you do 'takes too much time'. So they do something stupid like cutting people up at motorway off-ramps and roundabouts rather than follow the route they have incorrectly taken and finding somewhere safe to reroute themselves. How much time do they save? Nowhere near enough to justify putting themselves and others at risk.
Actually, I think 99 % of other people know this. Otherwise, these videos would be of people doing it right, or be several hours long. However, those who do NOT know this and e.g. look like a birdhouse (Swedish expression) when confronted with a phone in her hand or just don’t care are fucking idiots! And they can cause serious damage :(
J Stephen S whats difficult is they cannot psychologically cope with acknowledging something is their own fault or their issue Just look at more modern “cancel culture”, and people who complain life doesn’t work exactly the way THEY think it should...sigh
If the car he was angry at was originally in his lane then undertook him over the chevrons then I understand his frustration. It looks like the other car is already in the left lane, however, and the cammer is unhappy that he didn't let him change lanes.
1:50 When someone forces you to a stop on a motorway, they are LITERALLY endangering your life, in the form of the Heavy Vehicle that might hit you, any moment. DON'T STOP, drive around them, either side, and keep going. If you hit them while evading, THEY are at fault. Take it to the Magistrate, don't risk your life for the sake of some scratches in your paint.
Film it from another telly, what an arse. RUclips should have rules about that, at least the youtubers themselves should, if it's that shit quality, don't upload it.
The police car at 6:50 wasn’t doing anything wrong. It was over to the right to give the driver more vision round the bend which proved correct. Standard advanced driving technique.
So much wrong with that post. 1) as above poster says, it is ultimately driving on the wrong side of the road. Saying there's nothing wrong with that is mental. 2) the technique you're talking about is when moving over helps you see oncoming traffic. Even over that side, he can't see because of the size of those trees. You can't get around physics, no matter how advanced you are. 3) he only adjusts his vehicle when the cammer is yards away (and that was only because the cammer slowed anyway), so obviously never saw him until he was in front of him (as pointed out above, the size of those trees means he'd have no chance anyway). He was obviously (and justifiably) rushing, and moved over in what you would assume was a quiet country road, but managed to correct himself in time. End of.
It is a recognised technique for advanced driving. I remember my instructor raising his voice and telling me to get onto the other side of the road to extend my vision. The police car saw the oncoming car earlier than he would have done if he had been hugging the nearside. Obviously it isn’t always the correct thing to do, it very much depends on the situation.
ELPHITS that's not what I'm disputing, you'd do well to actually understand my comment before replying. Using a "racing line" is fine, so long as it helps you see around the corner and does actually help. The cop clearly didn't correct his car until the cammer was directly in front of him (and didn't see the car because of the trees covering the corner), and probably would have crashed if the cammer didn't slow down. It's like driving at 70mph when the road conditions are terrible and crashing, and then saying "well, it is a 70mph road".
3:05 Rob why are you trying to overtake on a bend and coming up to another one? Also, Rob, in the very next clip, slow down a lot more when approaching blind corners.
as far as i know, its perfectly fine to overtake in a bend where you can see oncoming traffic. Had the van driver followed his lane, there wouldn't have been a problem.
I totally agree, Rob is a complete tool. He needs to approach blind corners with less speed and more caution. Although that van should never of swerved with the intent of causing an accident, regardless of how shitty Rob is driving.
Stephen Buckley that really isn’t a blind corner, you can see around it on the dash cam and he would have even more view as he’s to the left. Also, the lines are broken meaning it’s safe to overtake. It would be different if there was a solid line or the bend was a lot sharper but your taking that one way out of perspective.
Sorry to hear about your grandad.he is peaceful In heaven.i know how you feel.i was very heartbroken for weeks what my great grandad passed on 4 years ago.hope you get over the pain.keep up the good vids.
God rest your fantastic grandad, he came across as a thoughtful, heartwarming guy in your videos and I could tell you had a very strong bond with him. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours at this sad time.
So sorry to hear of your loss! My family are going through the same thing (lost my grandmother just days before Christmas. She was 90). You just got a new subscriber btw 😊
Do people not know that the middle lane is not a cruising lane?
7 лет назад
In the UK? No, they don't know. ^_^ Lanehogging has become an art form there. Sometimes in the UK I overtake over the left as often as I do in Belgium, France or Germany, where that is compulsory.
I'm sorry to hear your grandfather has passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My mom passed away in November the day after I seen her, so I know what a difficult time you're going through.
I watched the clip again, the sound isn't very good but when I turned up my volume I could hear properly so I understand now!😂 I do drive a manual, just didn't hear it the first time, I can just imagine the smell from her clutch😂
I realise I’m 9 months late but a lot of the time watching these videos you forget that the people ‘behind the screen’ making the video have their own personal life and go through their own tough times. I hope you and your family are feeling well and may your grandad rest in piece.
My theory is that after having a crash and thinking it wasn't their fault, they buy a cam to prove themselves right next time, but then we get to see their bad driving. Many of them are plain wrong, and others lack of judgment/patience. Some capture genuine idiots
Andrew Drabble Thank you for your kinda words and I'm sorry to hear the loss of your Grandma. She sounds a superb lady and I wish you all the best. - U.K.
Was this the same man who suffered a stroke whilst driving and you caught it on dashcam? Or am I confusing him with someone else? Whatever it is, my sincere wishes to you and your family
@3:38, Does the cam car know he should be the one giving way to the traffic in the other lane, and there is no law that prevents undertanking, its just ill advised. Cam care was in the wrong.
8:00 quite a hard 1. The car shouldn't have been reversing unless it knew it was clear, however the oncoming car should have been more are and should have seen the car...whos to blame?
The vw. Reversing without looking then pulling out into the road without looking or using mirrors. License cut out from the back of a cereal box by the looks of it.
So sorry for your loss; my Grandad raised me so it felt like losing the dad I never had. Things will get better, but just be kind to yourselves in the meantime, my best to you and yours. Thanks so much for the videos, hope they still make you smile as much as I do 😊 take care x
Jesus fucking titty christ. Yes the van was in the wrong for not indicating but any of you fuckwits defending the biker need to go reread the HWC, in this case particularly rule 167...
George Vousden Are you serious? Overtaking on a junction? I didn't think that would be a good maneuver before seeing this video, do you really think this was a good maneuver after seeing it? Believe me, after 35 years of riding motorcycles I would never put myself in that situation.
5:54 Richard. You were taking over nobody you were sat in the middle lane for no reason the left hand lane is the driving lane you can beep at cars cutting you up all you want but you were in the wrong !!! Learn how to use the lanes in the correct manner !!
It's about time being caught driving whilst using a phone should mean an instant two year ban! |I've been driving for over twenty years and never had the urge to use my phone, a layby or safe place to pull over is never far away..
Paul Radon totally agree. 12 month ban loss of no claims then double insurance premiums for 5 years once conviction spent. along with being blacklisted for a mobile phone for 5 years. that'll teach em!!! need to hit the fuckers hard.
I've had the exact same thing done to me twice at the same place in the first clip. Worst part of it is that if you just carry on down that lane you can still go left anyway.
I’m not perfect, I am sometimes in the wrong lane when I don’t know the area or I’m just dozy. When it’s not safe to move over, do you know what I do? 3:33 That's the cammer's fault. Needs to calm down and look at his own driving.
I was thinking that he got upset because the blue car crossed the gore point and passed him instead of merging behind him
If the car he was angry at was originally in his lane then undertook him over the chevrons then I understand his frustration. It looks like the other car is already in the left lane, however, and the cammer is unhappy that he didn't let him change lanes.
uzijn That’s very possible, and he would be insane to think he had ROW in that situation. Too bad there is no rear cam so we can see
The usual mix of angry, trigger happy drivers of questionable skill recording their own idiocy for the world to see 👏🤤
Sargentbash you’re the Charlie uniform November tango
Definitely forgot to check his mirror before moving over.
Webby he sounded south african i could be wrong.
Didn't you know? Indicating now means "Move the fuck out of the way, I'm coming over!".
God rest you John. My condolences to you and your family, thanks for bringing us these videos. Again, truly sorry for your loss.

I hope the Driver of the silver car got locked up for this.
I love you putting "Shiting Peugeot" every now and again. this time, you even muffled it for the crash helmet.
so sorry for your loss.
4:14 cans someone please instruct M.Acres in how to download from his dashcam?
Film it from another telly, what an arse. RUclips should have rules about that, at least the youtubers themselves should, if it's that shit quality, don't upload it.
He's going for the 1940s pirated porn filter effect
thought he had filmed it with his toaster
@richardthestag he obviously hasn’t got the new 4K toaster yet ....
This channel needs to add non direct capture videos to its reject list.
Hate arse holes like that in the Audi TT, just go around again and get in the right lane if you've messed up!
Agree, unfortunately there are many drivers out there affected by "German car privilege".
I guess the audi was trying to hop a few cars over the junction
The Flying Postman *BMW
Thing is though he’s probably done that trick a couple of times
TT driver, they had someones hair to go cut
The woman at 9:08 needs to hand her license in.
_"...what is actually more dangerous is you driving right next to me..."_ In what universe is that a valid defence for breaking the law?
I just really had to *facepalm* myself when I heard her say that... Jesus Christ...
Dashcam Leicester umm yeah
She's right, it is more dangerous driving right next to her... everyone around her is in a dangerous position.
Oz licences is good for up to 6months in the uk. As uk one is good in Oz
3:15 - haha poor learner! Your lesson today is : dealing with white van man!
I love watching these videos before a long drive. Keeps you sharp. You can be as safe as you like, but you can't account for others!
Best dash cam videos on RUclips. Be proud of ya sen.
Sorry for you loss. RIP & RG
So sorry to hear about your grandfather! Thank you for continuing to make these videos for us!

It's the comments like these that make me continue with the videos! Thank you for your kind words.

apply some context it is indeed a recognised technique in advanced driving. Make the corners as straight as possible

Condolences to you and your family
Hot Fuzz
Thank you for your kind words and comment.

Sincere condolences. Losing a family member is really hard on the soul.
9:23 Surprised we didnt get the dashcam from the Peugeot's perspective complaining about Matt.
Todgrim chris MacArthur sent his clip in to another channel
where is Chris this week? I didn't spot his pink unicorn. Yes I did wonder if it was one of his turns, he does post them
3:05 Rob why are you trying to overtake on a bend and coming up to another one?

Ben Mayall He still didn’t see the other car coming and also wasn’t on his side of the road.
Stephen Buckley I’m talking about the one where he’s overtaking the van. The other one, yes he was going way to fast for a blind bend.
I like your compilations and I also share your sorrow. My Dad 1930-2018.
curlyjim2550 I hope he's at rest wherever he is. All the best.
Great vid mate as usual.
I’m so sorry about your grandad rip

So sorry to hear of your loss! My family are going through the same thing (lost my grandmother just days before Christmas. She was 90).

Sorry to hear about the passing of your grandad! My condolences!
Sorry for your loss mate.
Some right wazzock's in this one
Sarah Barton Favourite Word ever!
Sarah Barton My thought exactly!
Sarah Barton Fantastic word. Could do without the apostrophe though.
Maximum Joy Yea true. But still a great word!!!!!
Sympathies. Thanks for the new video.
i liked before i even watched the rest of the video...thank you for honoring your lost love one...
Really good at what you do. keep your chin up 🖒
Do people not know that the middle lane is not a cruising lane?
In the UK? No, they don't know. ^_^
Lanehogging has become an art form there. Sometimes in the UK I overtake over the left as often as I do in Belgium, France or Germany, where that is compulsory.
3:15 Poor learner driver, white van man is the one who needs to retake his driving test!
I enjoy these videos, but the Peugeot joke is getting a bit old...
Fully agree. The first few times were funny, but after several hundred times...
Ash Cox NEVER!!!!
The Peugeot joke has only just begun!
This is the joke you think is getting old? The "cyclist's fault" comment you routinely see now is so old, it has its own false teeth
It's always the cyclists fault. If they kept off the road there would be peace in our world.
I'm sorry to hear your grandfather has passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My mom passed away in November the day after I seen her, so I know what a difficult time you're going through.
RIP clutch 8:50
Michael Rickards why rip clutch?
M fl obviously don’t drive a manual car 😂
I watched the clip again, the sound isn't very good but when I turned up my volume I could hear properly so I understand now!😂 I do drive a manual, just didn't hear it the first time, I can just imagine the smell from her clutch😂
haha, thought the same. wth
probably only an ops from the almost accident she had
Love these kind videos:)
Sorry for your loss :(
Hi UK DASH CAMERAS...How can i get a performance dash camera?do you still have the contest?
“wHaT iS aCtUaLlY mOrE dAnGeRoUs Is YoU dRiViNg NeXt To Me…”
May your Grandfather's soul rest in peace. I'm sure he was a great man who taught you lots and inspired you loads.
Congratulations to M Acres for being the first cammer to submit a clip filmed on their Etch-A-Sketch.
RIP, sorry for your loss
Place I recognise, Pentre 5:38! Hehe, always feels weird seeing places you drive up offen.
3:33 Uploader was in the wrong, this was a lane gain not a lane merge (look at the road markings).
Sorry to hear this uk dash cameras about your grandad I’m thinking of ya and videos are great keep it up
james anthony
Thank your for your comment. It's greatly appreciated at this tough time.

Just subscribed, this channel has inspired me to buy a Dash cam for Bristol roads and send any footage of the doughnuts on the roads here.
7:14 - That's a paddling!
Sped through a red light with a red light and speed camera there...I hope it had film in it!
6:05 Is that Bristol Aztec West roundabout?? :D
The reversing Golf (AD57XHG) at 7:54... No Tax, no MOT, and no Insurance since 2016!!!
The video is dated 13th May 2016 ... at that time it did have tax and MoT
What is a monitor doing in this clip?
I realise I’m 9 months late but a lot of the time watching these videos you forget that the people ‘behind the screen’ making the video have their own personal life and go through their own tough times. I hope you and your family are feeling well and may your grandad rest in piece.
Looked more like road rage than cash for crash to be honest.
1930! Wow ur grandad has lived for VERY long, you should be proud! 😊😊😊
But also sorry for your loss...:(
Matt @ 10:22 - think you've just bumped into chris mcarthur. Unlucky.
my condolences man. Did,nt know it until now.
I think the general rule is, that if you have a dash camera, you're a shit driver.
My theory is that after having a crash and thinking it wasn't their fault, they buy a cam to prove themselves right next time, but then we get to see their bad driving. Many of them are plain wrong, and others lack of judgment/patience. Some capture genuine idiots
I agree! More often than not, the bad driving is perpetrated by the person filming!
Or a cautious driver. Drive like a bellend on your own camera is a double no-no.
I'm really really sorry to hear that for granddad
Used to be if you saw the lights ahead starting to change you would slow down, but now they accelerate to get through!
Everyone knows that the 'safety' idiots have timed the lights so that there is no risk in running a fresh red.
God speed John. I lost my Grandma this year too, so I feel your pain mate
Andrew Drabble
Thank you for your kinda words and I'm sorry to hear the loss of your Grandma. She sounds a superb lady and I wish you all the best.

I want "Shitting Peugeot" as my message tone
I just realised that my predictive text writes "Peugeot" after Shitting!
Sorry to hear about the passing of your Grandfather.

Thank you for your kind words and comment.

Was this the same man who suffered a stroke whilst driving and you caught it on dashcam? Or am I confusing him with someone else? Whatever it is, my sincere wishes to you and your family
7:07 hey , did you know , the amber light actually means stop , not accelerate .
nice crashes! man, I wish there were less cuz there are so many in this video
might be a bit late, but condolaces to you and your family :/ i lost my grandad almost a year ago, so i know the pain :'(
so sorry about your Grandad, i miss mine loads x
4:14. Are we inside a low flying aircraft? It's like sitting behind a propeller!
8:50, that clutch control.
@3:38, Does the cam car know he should be the one giving way to the traffic in the other lane, and there is no law that prevents undertanking, its just ill advised. Cam care was in the wrong.
I laughed when a lone tire was rolling across the road TIRE: "F*** these chicken crossing the road jokes, it's time to change it!"
Sorry to hear about your granda. Prayers with you all
Scott
Thank you for your nice words at this tough time.

8:00 quite a hard 1. The car shouldn't have been reversing unless it knew it was clear, however the oncoming car should have been more are and should have seen the car...whos to blame?
Bri Goose The little shit in the VW as it’s not taxed or insured since 2016!!
1janehunter how old the video
The vw. Reversing without looking then pulling out into the road without looking or using mirrors. License cut out from the back of a cereal box by the looks of it.
First of all, sorry to hear of your family's loss.
5:50 Richard the camera car is camped in the middle lane. Move over...
3:16 Anyone else notice that facility named "Poundland"
RIP John, so sorry mate
Don't be to sad about your grandad passing away my great grandad passed away wen I was 10 and we were really close
Nice to see in clip 3 the TT driver upholding the way ALL Audi drivers behave on our roads!
So sorry for your loss; my Grandad raised me so it felt like losing the dad I never had. Things will get better, but just be kind to yourselves in the meantime, my best to you and yours. Thanks so much for the videos, hope they still make you smile as much as I do 😊 take care x
Will, you really need to get your headlights adjusted
10:21 That Corsa definitely hit that Vectra lol.
Both Vauxhalls, so who cares
I think that was me going the opposite way during the clip at 1:50, I was wondering why those guys stopped in the middle of the busy road
Surely common sense of cars not overtaking on junctions should apply to bikes filtering as well? As shown in the clip near the end
Speaking as a biker, yes, it does.
You mean 9:16 ? This seems like a pretty sensible place to filter to be honest, good visibility up the road, traffic's not moving.
BrianGriffinQuahog go read rule 88 and 211 it of the highway code.
Whats the most broken car part in the UK? The horn obviously :D
the clip at 1:30 id really want to know what the hell was going on there
Much love r.i.p ❤️
8:00 who's at fault?
1:20 spaghetti junction?
Yeah it is.
Such a angry place , chill out you'll live longer and happier
5:54 Richard. You were taking over nobody you were sat in the middle lane for no reason the left hand lane is the driving lane you can beep at cars cutting you up all you want but you were in the wrong !!! Learn how to use the lanes in the correct manner !!
5:50 - lane sitter Richard, BELLEND driver!
Rest in peace, John.
And people seem to think that if they're in traffic it's alrigt! I 100% agree
Running a red light seems to be a national disease in this country.By the way, i bet your Grandad had a wonderful life. Sorry for your loss.
I've had the exact same thing done to me twice at the same place in the first clip. Worst part of it is that if you just carry on down that lane you can still go left anyway.
4:03 Nice Nissan Leaf (Electric Car ) Red on the right.
8:49 is that prince philip?
The times I hear "Shitting Peugeot" makes me think the creators of this video do not like Peugeot cars.
