HI, It has always been a standard to sleeve anything that is taken through the wall or cavity. We can't inspect anything that is fitted, so we have to provide as much protection as possible; fitting a Solid plastic sleeve protects the insulated pipework from all risks, including animals and rodents that could get into the cavity. The Primary Pro sleeve has to be a good fit and then sealed with our Primary Pro Bond & Seal to make sure there are no gaps to let energy out and let no cold air in This is essential to a new property as they conduct air tests to ensure the home is energy efficient.
Thanks for the video Dave! Nice and informative.
