I wish her the best of luck but I think 2025 is going to a big massive learning curve for her and taking time getting use to the open wheel cars. I definitely see her getting a couple of 10 tens and just maybe wven a top 5. On the pluse side she won't be having any drivers intentionally wreaking her like in nascar and she will have more testing and pratice session which is going to be a huge help for her.
For me I have always been a supporter of her when she started truck racing and obviously they never suited her style and I could say that for a lot of good drivers but I had decent hopes for her to at least win maybe a super speedway race this year but she didn’t even come close so I was sad when she left NASCAR but hey with FOX hopefully not going to screw up as I hear Alan bestwick will call All Indycar races next year maybe she can do good on the ovals I wish you the best of luck Hailie
People will point to the time sheets from the test and give her a lot of flack on the internet, but she does seem to be approaching this with the correct mindset. No one expects her to be competitive right out of the box in St Pete, but give her a year of development and see how she's improving
It is sad that she bailed on NASCAR, I was hoping she would stick it out and learn rather than bail to Indy Car. She will be competing with a bunch of great drivers who have been doing open wheel forever, I don't see her making it.
Deegan, dead last in this test. 4 seconds off fast time. Get used to that stat. And don't give me the crap about she's never driven one of these before. She has zero natural driving talent. That has already been proven. And will really show in these cars.
If you think talent is, what’s gonna put you in top 10 without any experience, then you know nothing about racing but a very ignorant comment You cannot hop in one of these cars and expect to be mid pack or in the front first race
@@johnb-shiftTrll me about it. A buddy of mine has been 2nd and 3rd in the SCCa Runoffs and it took him quite a while to get fast. I never did get fast.
You know what, unlike you apparently I’ve never driven what she’s driven or competed in those classes , so I wish her luck. You on the other hand have done everything she’s done better from your lazyboy 🤷♂️ lmfao 😂🤣
DFL in the test, two seconds slower than the "next" slowest. She is way over her head, these are very fast Formula cars, not Skip Barber school cars. For a claimed professional racing driver that was an embarrassing performance. Social media vs actual talent.
Claims said she prefers open wheel because of the training and workouts drivers must go through... meanwhile she keep gaining weight lol. Her career is already over.
Unfortunately she don't have the talent. Just like few other drivers buying their way in and learning how to drive as they go. Seems to be the norm nowadays. It use to be drivers earned their spot.
@@frankwilliamson3842 in today's racing you are probably correct. But to many continue to buy their way up leaving cars filled with seat fillers. Look at NASCAR. Way to many drivers fill seat that don't have the talent and yet are running on the track at their highest level of racing.
I guess you are the determining judge on who has talent and who doesn't. Can you also tell everyone how much money she paid for this ride? Personally, I don't think her, or her family is wealthy enough to buy the cars, pay the engineers, transporters and all the other equipment needed for her to race this series. Or any other series for that matter. You should tell us.
To get to this point, every kid/parent has spent a lot of coin to get to that point. The good old days of getting there just on talent have been gone a long time, it's a nonsensical point! To sit behind a keyboard and write that someone else hasn't got the talent is pretty lame at best and ironically hilarious that it says more about you then them!
@@ratbagswamprat what is lame is idiots like you wanting drivers with no talent in a seat. This is why racing is not entertaining anymore. You want to watch rich kids running around a track that can't drive any better than anyone else. She simply does not have the talent at this level. She don't have the mental focus either. If that butthurt you than that's your problem. Wah wah wah
Very good. I hope she continues to push herself and keep striving to be the best she can.
go get em Hailie Deegan, have a great season.

She looks so happy, I’m glad she is with a good team that WANTS to help drivers learn and succeed.

Fox should only show Indy NXT next season. It would get more viewers than the regular IndyCar series.
That's one dam determined lady, With her head screwed on, Hope she does well.
Hailie's MY Driver PERIOD!
Go Hailie!
I wish her the best of luck. I think the test session went pretty well. She must have learned a lot.
She seems smart. I guess that means she is.
This may just be the better style of racing for her. Hope it works out decently
Oh boy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wish her well she was treated in racing the same as cc was in the Wnba
Good luck to her, she usually seems positive
Mark my words she will be back to NASCAR!!!!
Absolutely delusional
Focus, focus, focus......
Give her a year see what happens
Maybe a good fit for her
LOL... right....

I suspect she won't be even close to Chadwick...ever, but hope she surprises me
Speaking of Chadwick where will she be next year ? All the Andretti nxt spots are filled up 😮
@@commanderclaude8781 She will probably buy a part time seat in IndyCar.
You need to find an Indy car mentor.

5th in practice at COTA. Finished 10th in the race. #butthurt

I wanna learn too, will someone pay me to wreck a bunch of cars in the process?
like she's gonna be able to compete there anymore than she did with top line equip in NASCAR?? two years and she's done....
My give a damn is broken.
Poor kid looks like she's about to cry....
The Buy a Ride Series. No talent required.
So daddy bought her another ride. One thing she cant do any worse than she did in nascar thats for sure
Pay to Play… Cash To crash at its best. Simply a marketing gimmick.

I don't think anyone "earns" a ride in NXT. They are all paying for it. The next step up, you have to earn.

I sorry folks I couldn't hear you over the impact.
I would rather have Jamie Chadwick in my Indy NXT team rather than Hailie Deegan imo.
Which team is yours?
We'll see what she does in open wheel
