As much as I've always wanted to go but never had the time or the money- now that I have the time and the money - maybe not so much. From a distance, Sturgis looks like it has become overly expensive, full of cops, and the weather always seems to suck. My brother-in-law went all the time back in the 70s and 80s with the club he was in at the time and told me that the whole scene had changed so much (and not for the better) that he would not be going back. I dunno - I may still head that way someday just to say I've been but I think I may stay out of town when it's time to party.
The first two days of the rally had terrible weather. Yes things have gotten expensive but you can’t beat the riding. This was my second trip and we are planning on going this year. Safe riding

And most meet the over-weight requirements!
