I’ll be honest. ALL the way back in BF3, I wouldn’t except battlefield friends to still be around today, let alone WITH THE EXACT SAME QUALITY AS THE PAST. Every single battlefield friends video is pure entertainment. Effort shows.

Loved how the medic kept trying, and dying, to get that tank while the others are so preoccupied with their dialogues. Loved Engineer raging, as well as the ending.

Medic continuing to go back was like when engineer kept getting killed by the Bunny Sniper, I forget what season it was. But the Episode was called Bunny Sniper.

@@CorriganM08 have you seen their Ark supercuts? They've got like probably close to 40-50 hours of absolutely hilarious Ark content right now, plays out more like an action sitcom though. 100% recommend to anyone that likes the Neebs crew or Ark.
Maybe they should make a few about BFV or BF1 instead. I dunno. Both games are great in their own way.

Patch guy is probably my favorite character in the whole series. He's so fucking weathered and tired now, I love it. I feel for him. He's the perfect embodiment of what I'm sure the devs actually feel.

If you watch some of Cap’s older vids following development, what 2042 was because of corporate interference on seeing the success of MW2019 and subsequently Warzone. I believe they were going to give us a game we wanted, but EA came in and fucked it up as they always do.

EA was hands off for this, they left everything to the DEV team because they thought they could trust DICE and that was the problem. You can't trust anyone that hires the lowest common denominator to justify diversity quotas that end up killing the franchise. But I'm sure I'll get yelled at for not "knowing" what I know.
The ending with the missing textures and the floating gun was amazing

Best thing about this battlefield is how much material it gives battlefield friends through sheer barely functioning, I love these episodes

I don't often leave comments, but I figured you guys deserve the praise for continuing to put in the grind to produce these shorts. Animation ain't easy, and most would just keep uploading livestreams and calling it a day, but y'all go above and beyond, and for that I salute you.
OMFG Just make a cartoon already, the chemistry you guys have built up over the years just makes the funny happen all on its own.
They have in the past but RUclips doesn't pay well for stuff that takes time to create so it's not sustainable. RUclips is all about quantity and consistency.
They've made like 6 different series. There's a superhero series on the old Hank and Jed Channel, there's Mob Squad, there's Doraleous and Associates, Battlefield friends, and they made a feature length Movie, Toonstone. I think there's another that I'm forgetting, but they're all great.

I played for like 15 mins before I just Alt/F4’d and uninstalled it in disbelief. They’ve made roughly 16/17 mins of BFF2042 vids.
And yeah, it’s a dumpster fire. I’ve played every BF since BF:1942 Demo Wake Island, so it’s sad to watch something I loved for over a decade die* a slow, painful death. I just wanna take it out to the woods and straight up Old Yeller it to put it out of it’s misery. 🥺

I love the chemistry between them, it makes the conversations in these feel so real!
Their chemistry is how we all were with our respective crews in the golden ages of BF games.
We tried a little too hard sometimes, but had fun, even though the noobs pulled off epic moves completely on accident.
Also, getting totally distracted trying to take out 1 toxic player while you let your team burn down. The medic repeatedly going after that tank reminds me too much of myself!

Man the "From where we started" to the "where we are now" with this game is so ridiculous. There was so much hope and joy they had going into this and they spun up all the animation only for the game to completely fall on it's face. Guys it's time to switch this to another game that is worth your time and effort.
I still remember when they reuploaded the brokenfield video, and it was only half way in when they mentioned Battlefield 3.... it took me that long to realize they weren't talking about 2042. And I just straight up lost it when he said "losing the sound at the start of the match".
Nah, they can still milk the shit out of this farce of a Battlefield game. Rub it in EA's face until they fucking get it. Or waterboard the Executives. I vote for both.
