At home: Wood shot box hang cans, golf balls, small candy, ect and simple-shot folding catch. At the shooting range cardboard paint can box full of old rags that hangs from target frames. All about retrieving the 3/8" steel shot. Yea buddy Simple-shot ROCKS!!! Have allot of their sling shots!
As a kid ... I was deadly with a slingshot. I also was a well practiced archer. But the slingshot was my favorite because it was so much cheaper to shoot. I harvested many different types of small game. From rabbits and neautreah to ducks and doves... very much fun! But gotta practice a lot lol
Ohhh my your LT pro is stunning. Nice shooting bro🫡🏴 You’re 100% bang on there dude, MIX IT UP!! Shoot in the garden, shoot in the woods, buy targets, make targets, cut cans, get out shooting with friends BUT ALWAYS KEEP IT SAFE🫡🏴
Hey bro, congratulations on your appointment as a Simpleshot Ambassador. Apparently, proper etiquette suggests that we refer to you as “Your Honor” during formal proceedings, state dinners and other “black tie” events, and “Mr. Ambassador” in less formal settings. Consistent with your appointment, you may wish to consider more appropriate shooting attire. Again etiquette suggests wearing a slouch hat, wool 3 piece suit, leather lace-up or Wellington boots, and a Windsor-knotted tie (check out some of the shooting scenes in Downton Abbey for more details). At some point you really should have an assistant for the more mundane tasks of setting up targets, selecting ammo, and reloading your slingshot for you. These chores are truly beneath your station now. I can also recommend a voice coach, I think we want something close to an Oxford accent, overlaying a faint brogue, with perhaps a touch of Midlands. (Check out some Sean Connery James Bond movies).
Seriously II - you can hang any of those targets next to your knife targets and cross-train. Shoot a slingshot, throw a knife, rinse, repeat. I do this w/ archery (shoot an arrow - throw a knife) - a lot of fun.
Good timing, now that you're with Simpleshot, you can show us the Axioum Champ Pro. I haven't seen it yet on any other channels. It's about time Nathan. Good going Daniel.
I prefer my bow but the slingshot can make a great backup. Especaially if one has the arrow adapter & some 100lb bands. At lesst thats what i like b/c it can almost match the draw weight of my bow. Btw i use a variety of targets from setting up hay bails to hanging cans at multiple difffernt angles & distances.
I ordered 6-7 different times from Simple Shot and they made time consuming mistakes on 2 different orders. That was a few years ago. I hope their diligence and focus has improved since then.
Seriously - Barnett just redesigned its classic wrist rockets and launched them as the “King Rat” line. Just got one and will report back after I erplace the tubes w/ flat bands. Same rubberized and textured grips, but a solid metal wrist brace covered in foam, like the old Trumarks. I am not going to miss that ugly plastic piece on the wrist brace. I will keep you posted.
Thanks for the video. What kind of shot are you using? If I were shooting a slingshot, I'd probably want to find a target that would allow me to recycle my shot. Maybe I could get some plumber's putty or something similar, put it inside a can of some kind, and use it to catch my shot. If you took a tuna can and filled it with plumber's putty, would that work? If you ever find a grocery store that would sell you a large number of tortillas that were past their expiration date, you could leave them out for a couple of weeks until they got really hard. Then, you could shoot them and get that breaking effect. Birds and mice would clean up the leftovers.
Safety hint. Always and I mean Always use that safety sling around you wrist. I learned the hard way. My simpleshot sling shot slipped out of my hand and hit me hard in the face driving my left k-nine tooth completely thru my lower lip.
Question ❓. Would you make a video on how to make a proper slingshot diy?? If possible out of everyday / around the house or from natural materials?? I think many would appreciate such a video.
Ambassador?? your channel should make you product salesman of the year! The only issue I have is: when you do avideo review, I immediately want "one", then I go to thier page and they are "out of stock".. because of your video 😅
I'll just say that shooting that glow in the dark thing at night is a bad idea unless there is a big catching backdrop. Even you missed it twice. People without your skills will miss more often and the risk of hitting wildlife is big. Owls hunt at night and you can't see them in the dark. A missed shot could hit and even kill an Owl or injure other wildlife. During the day people can see what's in the background - at night people can't see and animals can't see the ammo. Same concept as being responsible for what your bullet hits if you miss the bad guy.
That's the best use of peppermint candies I've heard of.
Haha! They explode wonderfully
I appreciate all the options & reviews you bring. Thank you 👍🏻🇺🇸
My pleasure!

I've got a couple old frying pans hung up in different places. But I haven't used a slingshot in years lol would like to try it again.
I like it❤

that LT pro colorway is so rad. I actually go to goodwill and get pans and drill them into trees around the woods.
Awesome video, brother, and thanks for the name drop. You're truly an awesome guy 👊.
Always a pleasure my bro!
9mm steel making a hole through a can base, hot damn that's satisfying . Sounds great too.

It’s fun I have done so 👍👍
not since I was a kid. Looks like fun all over again
Tin cans on a string....cutting a can in half is almost meditative. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Thinking about picking up one of these and the resetting target for the backyard. I have a 5 yo that might be interested. 😂
Go for it!🙂

Thanks my friend! I’m shocked to hear the axiom champ pro hasn’t been reviewed. I may need to do that.

They have really grown as a company that’s for sure

That’s a great idea! I shoot clay balls out here

Thank you!
My clay balls came yesterday. That actually doesn't sound good. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Anyhooo......I'll be going out to practice soon.
Clay balls are so fun to keep in abundance
@@411Outdoors True.

Thanks for the idea! I’ve done a natural fork video a few years ago. Smo show does some great epoxy frames as well
Orange clays.
Yes!

Haha! I didn’t think about that😂
no hammer time? lol Love my Hammer XT but my living room wall is starting to develop an extreme dislike towards it lol
😂
I’ve got my Snipersling Darts hooked up to it
@@411Outdoors I've been meaning to pick up set of those myself. Are they worth it?

I shoot with Clay and I don’t go out beyond sunset
@@411OutdoorsJust talking about people in general. Wasn't specific to you.
@@NatureZone101 you’re right though 👍👍
This is what happens when your mother takes your slingshot away as a kid.
Haha thankfully I didn’t shoot as kid but these things are worthy of taking from the wrong hands 😂
