On the 25th of January 2018 Monotrophy from Lyon, France visited the White Noise Studio on their European tour with Noyades.
Their music ranges from contemporary music to smoky krautrock. The music is built around improvisation and spontaneity. The guitar drones blend with the drums, and finishes buzzing in your ears.
The band hs their latets record ''Micas'' released by S.K Records ( Lyon , France) and by October Tone from Strasbourg.

Just about 4 and a half minutes in and I am feeling extremely relaxed.
Strange how such a straightforward and repetitious beat coupled with the gradual swells of guitar can have such an effect on a person.

Hi, I used to plug my guitar in 2 inputs. One for the rythm section and one in a super ego ehx. Then I used a whammy and a wha to modulate thé drone.
