Hello! I first found you from Instagram because of your Na'vi cosplay and all I can say is thanks for inspiring me to consider doing my own Na'vi cosplay, and I can't wait till you do a video of the outfit and accessories that you made go go with the cosplay! (I understand it's probably hard to do videos in quarantine tho) :)
Do you wear wig cap with your avatar costume what leotard are you wear with your avatar costume how long did it take you to put on your avatar costume from avatar movie can you show me how make avatar bodysuit costume
if you go to Joann's and you get some generic acrylic paint and buy some textile medium and follow the instructions on the bottle of textile medium it should work relatively well and you can just paint it on with a brush. If your fabric is stretchy make sure that you stretch it over something before you paint it or the paint will just crack off but also make sure you have something underneath the back side of the fabric so that if the paint bleeds through it doesn't get on something important
If I am remembering correctly, I was referencing box-braids, which if you look up pictures of true box-braids (like the braids Neytiri has) you can see that they usually encompass the whole head. There are a couple reasons you shouldn't do box-braids on your hair if your white. The first and most important is that if you do that it will permanently damage your hair and you might experience traction alopecia and give yourself bald spots. White people's hair texture isn't compatible with living in tights braids and going unwashed for long periods of time. Our hair absorbs moisture and oils slightly differently and so without access to our scalps natural oils for weeks that occurs while the hair is in breads it will make your hair extremely brittle and it will break. The traction alopecia occurs because the braids are heavy with the added synthetic hair and the tension needed to make them. The weight of the braids and the weakness of the hair can lead to the hair just breaking off, or pulling out of your head and damaging you hair follicles. There are other hair health problems that can occur if someone with naturally smooth or even more broadly not kinky/curly curly hair has box-braids put in their hair. I am also speaking from experience, as someone who had box-braids done on me as a child, it will fully mess up your hair and scalp for years and even potentially permanently. Second, it's very culturally insensitive for white people to wear a full head of box-braids. There are lot of cultural experiences unique to African Americans and other Black cultures that relates to their hair and so sometimes wearing those hairstyles is an act of cultural appropriation. Even when cosplaying it's important to be aware of how certain elements might be cultural appropriation and how to best be sensitive to those elements and open to changing the design or element to be more appropriate for someone of our own cultural background.

How long did it take you to put on your avatar costume and avatar makeup from avatar the movie
It usually takes about 1.5 hours to put the makeup on and about 15-20 minutes to put the clothes/bodysuit on. So in total about 2 hours.
