Thanks a lot! I really appreciate! I’ve been playing these guitars for more than a decade improving the design etc, finally we are selling them the way I wanted them to be! :)
very "Washburn N-Series". i like it. EDIT, just got to the bit where you say you had one. makes sense now. the undesirable bass response could be the BL pick-up the commercial N4 is sold with. the Bill Lawrence USA pup isn't a "real" Bill Lawrence. to get the authentic BL sound you need a Bill and Becky Wilde 500XL or 500L installed upside-down.
I totally agree on the Bill Lawrence! But I believe the ebony fretboard, the thinner neck and the Stephen extended cutaway may influence that too. BTW Back in the days I opted for a SD dimebucker at the bridge.
@@PatrickAbbate yeah, i personally like the crisp tone of ebony or maple, but it does something to the lows for sure. i have an N2 so i can't comment on the Stephens. but the neck is Goldilocks for my hand, and the body is SUPER comfortable. i came to find out i have a similar body type to Nuno. it's probably why i always go back to it even though i have "better" guitars. and it's one of the crappy Chinese N2s from 20 years ago. it's got a BL USA, but i live in rural Australia so i was lucky to even find the N2 twenty years ago. BUT i have heard good things about the SD Dimebucker, a good alternative if you can't get a BL of some kind, which i can't (Australia, distribution channels, nightmare), but i can get Seymour Duncan. Pearly Gates is my favourite all-round bridge humbucker. for more specific metal-gain tones i like Dimarzio passives and Fishman actives. i don't use any other active pups but Fishman. in 30 years of playing they're the only ones i like the sound of, and the playing dynamics. but i prefer passive. i only use Fishmans when i want that *exact* tone in metal, less than 10% of the time. for every other style or tone (with the possible exception of 'Trons), SD does it best. even in the HIGH-gain arena, Pegasus, Nazgul, Sentient. SD are rock-solid (pun intended). and that Tesla looks....... wow.
Thank you bro! I completely agree with you! I have an N2 too! Still have that one! It’s a really good guitar for the price! Before my N4 was ready I was using the N2 and some people thought it was the N4! Beautiful guitar! I got the idea of the coil split pot from the N2! The N4 doesn’t have it! Anyway, yeah Seymour Duncan totally owns my tone! The Tesla guitar will be in production next year but we already received some orders for that one 🤦♂️😂 I designed both Tesla and Roswell more than 12 years ago, it’s time to make them available for everybody!
Those inlays are awesome! What a cool guitar!

@@PatrickAbbate surprising the N4 doesn't split the BL. high output rail humbuckers split really well. you get some beef on the single-coil tone.
@@fistovuziI added the split on my N4 😉
