Corvus sparks an interesting conversation of micro skill vs payout or optimization ceiling. He’s undoubtedly the best hero if you optimize him, but once you do, the game becomes trivial because he can provide so much. So what’s a healthy ratio gonna/supposed to look like? Personally I think his design as a tower is a little muddled. He can do so much, but also takes so much to use. Sometimes it can be hard to justify just using a spell or building a new tower to solve your issue. Sometimes you’re so busy on micro’ing Corvus that you might even forget about using other towers entirely because of focus. He definitely provides a new gameplay experience, but it also has the potential to intrude on core gameplay, which isn’t necessarily bad, but also not necessarily good either. And none of this even touches on how much of a nightmare it’s gonna be for Ninja Kiwi to balance Corvus for a while
As other people pointed out the main issue of Corvus versus other micro heavy towers like BH and Geraldo is that he doesn't need any in game resources to do his work, only player input. Geraldo obviously need to spend cash to get his stuff, and without it he is literally worth less than a Dart Monkey. But less obvious than that, Geraldo needs *other* towers to use his full potential; you need a good pooping tower to give camo potions; you need powerful abilities to use rejuv potions; you want towers with innate buffs to use gerry fire; you need sharp towers to use stones; so on and so forth. Geraldo enhances the core gameplay loop (maybe even a little too much) by making your other towers better. Corvus on the other hand just straight up replaces the need to get them. I think that after Corvus honeymoon is over he's gonna be of the most boring heroes.
There's a somewhat cursed bug involving the t4 middle path heli (showcased by MackanRules). Use the t4 heli to move a tower to a certain spot, while the tower is being moved upgrade the heli to t5. You're then able to move the selected tower anywhere on the map (water towers on land etc)

While using Corvus I have found that it is possible to cancel the timer after using overload by using recovery and immediately dismissing recovery which allows you to use the spirit's base attack quicker after overload and you can also cancel trample using this by activating overload during the trample then using and dismissing recovery but this needs over 800 mana to use.
So now with corvus, you can survive without popping the bloons or lose lives. Is there a challenge hidden in there? Like how little can your pops go while beating chimps mode or something?
@@hellmaestroosu792unless it's a 1 tower challenge, bottom path is always better now. 2-5-0 glue gunner deals 1 dmg every 2s, while 0-5-2 makes the glue duration go from 11 to 24s, and makes the bloons slowed by 75% instead of 50%. Only reason to use top path is in 1 tower challenges, because otherwise bottom path gives more damage because bloons are slower and in range of your towers longer.

Can you try to redo round 104 but use the health shield ability because it might allow you to tank a couple cerams to survive.

Trample has a high pierce limit but not infinite. Think Sauda's sword charge, if you regrow farm hard enough then you will get pierce capped.
