Congrats Capt. Vasanth for giving us an insight into a world of Evolution of Container ships and General cargo systems, its inception from ancient times till date.Although it's a subject alien to me your explanation was explicit and the info U have given through your amazing study, research plus hands-on experience would surely benifit all our budding future Maritime students .. Thank U Capt. Vasanth for taking us on this incredible journey👍👌
I sailed on the first generation containership built in 1969,a vessel called ACT 1 which was steam turbine powered operated by associated container transportation, she operated from Europe to Australia and new Zealand, her accommodation was right aft,I later sailed on ACT 7 which was a larger vessel built in 1977 with a capacity of 2300 teu which was big then but a baby compared to today's vessels, her accommodation was three quarters aft,she had biggest reefer capacity for this type of vessel at time great video many thanks.
