I love traveling LAX to my hometown in South America through Panama because its only two 7h flights, instead of one 11h plus another 3. I do see why Copa business has been cheaper than usual :(
I do find Copa reliable and they certainly offer a much better soft product than Avianca. But at the right price if you can get in LATAM’s newer Business Class on a longer leg down south then I say that’s the better between the 3.
Thank you for the video. Was it hard or easy to cross over the other person when you go to the restroom. I am taking Copa business class 4 flights in September and don't know if I should choose window or aisle. I drink a lot of water so I will have to leave the seat often.
I would say it may be better for you to choose the aisle if you will need to use the bathroom often. In the lay flat position it is a little difficult to “hop” over the person seated in the aisle.
Service was fine. Due to the hour this flight left they don’t do the meal service until 2 hours before landing but otherwise the service on COPA has been fine in my opinion. It may not blow you away but certainly won’t piss you off either lol.
@@BrandonJohnson10K so what do they d o when you first get up in the air? Nuts and snacks and drinks? Did they come around for drink refills at the first of the flight or w as it just one drink and then the curtain? thx!! Really enjoy your videos!
@@christiandiablo9499 they offered some nuts and a drink service. Then they go to let people sleep. They then came back out with about 2 hours left to do breakfast service. It is roughly 7 hours of flight time so it makes it hard to sleep due to the hour in which this flight leaves. Thanks for watching 🙂

I just am a little freaked out by it all . I know I know. but normally if im flying I'll try to fly United's 777-300's or any alrline that allows me a private pod ... Thanks
Thank you for watching. I didn’t find it weird eating next to my seat mate. Any Narrowbody with lie-flats with a few exceptions will have you next to someone. Yes this isn’t a private hard product but for the routes that Copa runs this aircraft non stop its as good as things will get as no one else will offer lieflats on their routes.

I did fly Delta into EZE from ATL once and that was a fabulous lie flat experience. I'm worried about COPA as I have been reading a multitude of negative reviews with regards to cancelations etc etc. Its been years since I've been to Colombia and I used to only fly Avianca . With the exception of 1 Copa flight which I must. say was just fine enroute to Mia... Thanks again. I'M gonna really need to think this one through

I booked the flight months in advance for this specific plane and luckily I wasn’t hit with an aircraft swap. They tend to use them on their longer routes such as PTY-EZE and PTY-GRU.
I would say yes for that length of flight on a narrowbody aircraft. This will obviously depend on the price difference between Economy and Business and at what point you see it as the right price or too expensive.

I suppose if you are traveling alone you may prefer the aisle as you can easily step out to go to the bathroom and not have to climb over your seat mate. Other than that it would just be a preference of how close you wanted to be to the front galley or to Economy behind you.
They left my checked bag behind in PTY…were a little slow in getting it to me in SDQ. I arrived late Friday/early Saturday morning and bag was delivered to hotel Sunday evening despite flight arriving early Sunday.
Video quality: Fair. Narration: Very good (I thank you for not talking throughout your flight unlike many other vloggers which is a practice I find very rude and disrespectful). Informative but a bit short at only 10min 54sec; background music perhaps not the best choice (I'd go with something less danceable, less percussion and more soothing/calming). Your focus was the airline and not yourself, so I give high praise to that because way too many travel vloggers are in front of the camera for a bulk of the video running time so it's really more about them than the airline that video is supposed to be about. This clearly says those vloggers are self absorbed, narcissistic and looking to get famous perhaps? Again, thank you for not having that inflated ego. I was surprised to see the amenity kit because of the type of aircraft and this not being an ultra long haul flight, so I get why no menu either. A pre-departure drink would have been nice, although I wouldn't expect bedding for the duration of this flight. The length of this flight is kind of in the middle of so many overnight/long haul flights due to the geographic location of Panama. I am considering going to Panama using Copa Airlines from ORD, but at USD$1260 round trip, that is a bargain considering the distance traveled. (Each flight is only about 4.5 hours in duration so I can't expect many Business Class services that are normally seen on flights 8+ hours in duration). Anyway, decent video overall and keep up the good work. My final score: 6.50 (out of 10)

hey Brandon - how was service? I've heard Copa is notoriously bad in service in biz class on those night flights (and most day flights).

Hi Brandon! How soon before your flight did you know that you’d be flying in the 737 Max9?

I’m traveling from PTY-ASU in November about 6.5 hours, really hoping they have the Max9 for that flight.
